    All aboard! We’re off! Sam called out and we all piled into the car and he drove us to the airport. We sang as we drove and the drive was over quickly.  It really did not feel like an hour’s drive.  Once at the airport, Sam helped us load our luggage on the cart and kissed us all goodbye.  Now my little sister, enjoy yourself! Remember you have nothing to worry about here.  I am taking care of everything! You deserve a break after what you have been through! My brother hugged me and smacked my bum to make me leave so I did not see his eyes were watery.  I decided not to embarrass him for once and hugged and left with Marcia in tow. Although I was the oldest, Sam always called me his little sister as I was shorter than his six foot two at 5 foot eight!

    We reached the ticket counter and showed our tickets. We were given our boarding passes and our luggage went into the hold. We’re off! Girl, can you believe it? Marcie did a little jig. I grinned at her.

    We went through security and customs and sat in the lounge until our flight was called. I sighed and rested my head on the back of the chair and closed my eyes. Jaz, are you OK? Marcie looked concerned.

    Hey, I’m fine! I just took a moment to let it sink in that we are on our way! I tried to smile but it did not reach my eyes and I wiped away a tear.  If anyone knew me, it was Marcie.  We’ve been best friends since pre-school, in fact, I married
