He believes that Poetry is a passionate art which graciously and courageously explores your most intimate thoughts and emotions. Dedication:
Most of the credit for organizing this book should
be given to my friend, Mary. Mary’s husband,
Jay, passed away recently and it is to the both of
them that I’m dedicating this book. Without her
help, this book would not have been possible.
Introduction:
There are a lot of poems in this book. I hope you
pick and choose your favorites from the selection.
For you stalwart readers, you may read the book
in one sitting, but if you so desire-read awhile-
let some soak in and continue on later. The topics
are many, the poems are short, thus the title:

I hope you enjoy.

Short Stuff
I hope you like
My book of poems
May they be something
That keep you going.
During the production of this book I had to have a
wisdom tooth removed. We hope the wisdom
itself wasn’t lost!
Each of these poems
Is a work of art
I hope interpreting them
Will help to make you smart.

I think that without her
I would not get very-far.

Some are full of hard labor
Others barely pay
But in reality you realize
It’s the job that makes the day.
Business
If you’re in a business
That’s really on the edge
It’s kind of like looking over
The boundary of a ledge.

A real blockhead.

School is an adventure
You swim in a great big sea
I learned and did a lot of things
In fact it taught and developed me.
