Note to the reader:
This book was written in my adolescent years. So
I’ve decided to leave the book as it was written so
that I do not take away for the overall purpose as it
was originally intended. These poems are based on
my thought process from age 12 to 22. I know
longer think like this but I do hope you enjoy the
book.
Acknowledgements
To God, Father, Lord, Master, and Creator, all
praises, glory, and thanks go to you, cause without
you there would be no me.
To Nazerine Marie Sanders, Momma, thanks for
loving and under-
standing me.
To Ms. C. Tanner-Osho, 8th grade English teacher,
thanks for showing me my talent.
To my many friends, whom names are not
mentioned because they already know who they are,
and all the haters. Thanks for sticking with me
through the years.
And a special thanks to Elline Marie Yarbrough, my
aunt, thanks for loving, caring, understanding, and
being there for me through everything.
