About this ebook

This story is about food and weight loss. It's not a book on staying healthy, healthy diets, or a sales pitch enticing you to buy the latest fad diet. This gives you a little background on how "healthy" food may be making you sick and fat. Gain awareness that the only way to lose weight is to stop eating so much. It discusses the food we eat, why traditional diets don't, and "fail" personalities that keep the weight on.

This story is about food. It’s not a book on health, healthy diets, or a sales pitch enticing you to buy the latest fad diet. This is not a guide to purify your liver or cure a disease. This is not an exercise manual. This is simply awareness that the only way to lose weight is to stop eating so much. If want to start a weight loss program, talk to your doctor.

    Introduction

It’s OK to be fat. There are all kinds of people and some are fat. If you like being fat, go ahead and stay that way. But if you’re like me, it’s uncomfortable carrying the extra poundage. Extra weight is unhealthy; it robs us of energy, our life force so to say. It prevents us from staying active. Being fat is expensive. Always buying bigger-sized clothes, and more food. And it’s not just me. My kids are fat, my siblings are fat, my friends are fat, my neighbors are fat, the checkout lady at the store is fat. Fat abounds. Fat hurts.

We are consumers in an economy which sustains itself on more stuff. We live large. We are large. Bigger, better, larger is synonymous with our cultural fit. We have bigger cars, bigger couches for our bigger houses. We make goals for an ideal weight, instead of setting standards to live by. We want to look good instead of living well.

We try diets, exercise, and meditation. Why are we still fat? Let’s take a look at crazy-ass diets and explore what’s going on with our food, and with us. Why don’t diets work? Do we have a fail personalities? Is it the food itself? Are we filling a void? How heavy do we need to be before we say I’m too fat.

People who are fit and trim, who have always been fit and trim, telling us how to lose weight is kind of stupid. They are telling us what works for them. We are not those people; you can tell by just looking. Every weight loss diet demands the same thing: eat less of SOMETHING. Modify your intake. Thus, here it is the easiest diet to follow, the Eat-Less Diet.

There’s always more than just eating. Exercise is great for overall health and building muscle. Sorry to say, but exercise will not create weight loss. Exercise makes you hungrier and your muscles bigger. You end up exercising so you can eat more, and eating more to build larger muscles. Meaning, you can eat the pie as long as you take a 5-mile run. Or, eat enormous amounts of protein to increase muscles.

Listen, the only way to lose weight is to stop eating so much. It’s a mind-set. No diet, miracle pill, even bariatric bypass surgery will work unless you’re committed to eating less. After trying a new diet, or exercise plan, and doing everything everyone is telling you to do, why
