About this ebook
Your success at work will largely depend on yourself – how well you know yourself and how you take advantage of your strengths and minimize your weaknesses.
While timing, luck and upper management will always play a part, it is you who ultimately is in control and thus can lead to your most rewarding success or be the root cause of your greatest failures. It should feel encouraging that you are in control instead of others, but in order to have the most opportunity for success, it is critical for you to have a positive mindset from the beginning and to maintain it even when it is seems impossible.
Thomas Patterson
Husband to my beautiful wife and a father of 2 daughters I live and work in the South where I am a CTO of a billion dollar company. My current position was an evolution within the company hiring in as an engineer a little over a decade ago and working my way up. I don't have many hobbies other than traveling, mowing the yard ( most of the time — something therapeutic about it ) and watching sports especially during the playoffs ( love the competition ). I find myself at a time where my curiosity is at all time high about almost everything from my job and its future for what I can do for the company and even outside of work of getting more involved in the community to learn more from others , but also share some of my experiences. I look forward to engaging with my followers and hopefully we will learn something from each other.
