      Introduction

      The book of Ruth begins with tragedy and drama, but becomes a love story and a tale of loyalty and honor. One of the shortest books of the Bible, with one four chapters, Ruth is not a deep book, but studying it brings blessing just the same.

      We see some interesting aspects of God’s law for the Israelites in action, as well as examples of faith, loyalty, and wisdom, all or which ends with the continuing of the genealogical line that will lead to Jesus Christ himself. Let’s look at some of the individual aspects of Ruth, as well
