Rachel observed her parents beat tremendous odds and build several businesses during her childhood -- real estate ownership interest in 5 residential homes (2 multi-family), and a retail car service and maintenance business. That grit, tireless drive to succeed and latent entrepreneurial skills carried Rachel throughout her life and to her success today.Rachel ranked 11 in her high school class of over 300 students, with a 4.2 unweighted GPA and college credit, and received a full-ride scholarship to the prestigious Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. However, Rachel's life choices caused her to be married and pregnant during her 2nd year at Fisk -- while she was newly inducted into the W.E.B. Duois Honors Program -- shortly thereafter withdrew to be a full-time wife and mother. Staying a life-long learner regardless Rachel continued her education attending 7+ institutes of higher learning in 14+ years, acquiring several degrees and certifications while maintaining being a mother and enduring a nasty divorce that left her over a quarter million in debt in 2012.For the last 10 years, Rachel has been studying, developing, and figuring out ways to DO better and BE better in everything she does or touches. While not many individuals can work in so many industries and study so many things, Rachel decided, a long time ago, it is WHAT YOU KNOW and not necessarily WHO YOU KNOW that should be the catalyst for ultimate success. Success is how YOU define it, not by OTHERS, not by society, not by anyone's personal opinion -- what's important to you, your goals and dreams that you accomplish and reach for, that's a success! You are better, every day, that's a success!WHO YOU KNOW is decided by CHANCE or your NETWORK of people you have met or talked to through the years -- it can vary, change, get better or worse depending on circumstances. WHAT YOU KNOW, you have more control over. GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT, EVOLUTION.
