She received her secondary education at the Saint Joseph’s Convent Secondary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In 1967, she migrated to the United States and later obtained a BS degree in technology of management, computer systems applications from American University in Washington, D.C. (1979). She is an accomplished computer system professional with over thirty years of experience.
Tabitha also enjoys writing poems. Her first poem was penned in 1996, during quiet meditation and prayers at the closing of the year.
Tabitha is married to William Benjamin Lewis and is the proud mother of three daughters—Velma, Omorotimi, and Ibironkeh—and a son, Benjamin, who is married to Evelyn. Tabitha is also blessed with two grandchildren—Benjamin Jr. and Amanda, whose twin brother Robert is resting in peace with Jesus.view less
