Spare the Rod Love the Child is based on her experience of counseling individuals, couples, and families that spans more than thirty years. A mother and grandmother herself, she has a great deal of respect and empathy for parents.
Growing up in a family of nine children, Anne became interested in working with families and children early on. She studied nursing at the Boston Children’s Hospital and worked as a nurse for several years. Once her own children reached adolescence, she went back to school to obtain a graduate degree in counseling and education with additional graduate work in couples and family therapy. She is committed to helping families provide safer, more loving homes for their children.view less
