After a move to Moline, IL in 1990 he joined a local Pontiac club, and met Arnie “The Farmer” Beswick. Shortly after, Dean was given the opportunity to put together a two-and-a-half-hour video documentary on Arnie’s career and started traveling with him. In the late 1990’s, Dean wrote articles for souvenir programs as well as other various magazines (Pontiac Enthusiast) and newspapers with Arnie noting him as his "historian".view less
