This is his second children’s book. He had previously written “Chase Gets a Medal.” He lives in Lexington, SC with his wife, Sheila, and their therapy dog, Chase. GERI ALGAR happily teaches first and second grades at Irmo Elementary in District 5 of Lexington & Richland Counties in SC. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and was named the Distinguished Reading Teacher of the Year by the South Carolina International Reading Association for District 5 and Columbia in 2011-12. Geri and husband Bill have 3 children. The Illustrator SARAH FLOWE is a freelance artist who specializes in murals and illustrations. Her formal art training includes the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and a degree in Fine Arts from Brigham Young University in Idaho.
