She loves the warm clim...view moreAuthor of children's illustrated book Keepin On, The Naked Acorn, and Why Do You Care About My Hair?, LaShundra a.k.a. Ms. LaLa was Born in Panama City, FL. She loves the warm climates and has never accustomed to the cold but she grew up in Omaha, NE and currently resides in Oklahoma. She is now a second grade teacher in Oklahoma City Public Schools. March, 2015, LaShundra will have obtained her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Teacher Leadership.
She is very active and loves her large family, wonderful friends and supporters, and being surrounded by her little four legged (plus) friends. She has three crumb snatchers of her own. Married since 2001 they have added to their lovely family some pet fancy rats, dogs, cats, hermit crabs, and fish. (Yes they all live under one roof and love each other very much.) Although they seem to live in the zoo, everyday is an adventure and another memory to add to the mental pallet. Her family and friends have called her LaLa for years. The name Ms. LaLa just came naturally. She has dreams to travel the world reading her books to children and gifting them to children from all over. Ms. LaLa loves writing and loves a good laugh so join her on her journey, laugh, and well...live a little, live a lot. Above all cherish your blessings and keep on keeping on.view less
