This was especially true when it came to her spending time with her beloved dolphins. Dolphins were Linda’s personal totem. Whenever she was on the ocean they came to her or she was drawn to them. Dolphins were with her while she was captaining her professional dive boat, cruising the Caribbean with her family, sailing on the California coast, observing dolphin life in Midway, or swimming with the wild dolphin on Lanai, Hawaii. She witnessed that dolphin family and human family had many similarities. They are both founded in mutual trust, compassion, dignity and respect, ultimate personal responsibility, forgiveness and love. These were the personal principles she lived in her life. In writing the Dolphin Law she hoped to pass on her life experience not only to her children and grandchildren but to children and adults seeking to find the purpose and meaning of their lives everywhere. The Dolphin Law was her last gift. Six weeks after completing the main draft she was taken from life and now swims with her dolphin family. This is her legacy.view less
