About this audiobook
Get ready for a bewitching tale of love, laughter, and supernatural shenanigans in the heart of Maple Hollow!
The last thing apothecary witch, Jordyn, had on her mind was romance, but when she got witchy-wasted, she cracked open the coffin of her love life and conjured the ghost of her ex-girlfriend. Jordyn is in for a spell of trouble now that the snarky specter is determined to haunt her until she finds someone new.
Enter Harlow, the new girl in town, who just wants a job in her sister’s cafe but she discovers that the spooky town of Maple Hollow is more than just a gimmick. Real magic lives here. But after run-ins with vampires and one too many grave cafe blunders, she's ready to hop on a broomstick and fly out of town. Until she finds herself falling under the spell of the enchanting witch who asks her on a date.
As sparks fly and cauldrons bubble, will this unlikely pair brew up a love potion that defies the ghostly odds? Or will Jordyn's shade-y ex be the ultimate buzzkill to their budding romance?
Grab your broomstick and buckle up for a cozy sapphic paranormal rom-com that's sure to cast a spell on your heart this fall season!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Really cute FF cozy romance. I’m so glad I listened to this and have already recommended to my friends!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5side characters were more developed than the actual characters and it felt like being gay was the only personality trait they had. plot was fine but predictable
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a super cute, spicy Halloween read ?. I caught myself giggling quite a bit and saying ? on the spicy parts.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very atmospheric descriptions. So well done!
Love the sister bonding. the conclusion to the sister's controlling tendencies was very subtle. Why didn't we get an ending for the sister's love life?
The romance between the main characters became better later in the book I feel. Probably because there was more drama. The romance didn't feel that deep or impact full before the drama.
All the characters were enjoyable though. I really liked the sisters and Lou.
The attacker being a bit less jealous/obsessed and just more hateful and a bit jealous would have fit better, I think though.
Perfect atmosphere for cozy Halloween ❤️ - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved the story and the pacing. I was thrown off by the quality of sound by one of the narrators

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5All the hallmarks of a witchy romance are present in this book:
A small town with "Hollow" in the name ✔️
Someone named "Willow or Harlow" ✔️ and ✔️
An apothecary ✔️
An out-of-towner trying to fit in the, surprise!, paranormal town ✔️
This was a fun, albeit a bit predictable, unapologetically Sapphic, murder-mystery romance.
My only issue was the stark difference in the audio quality between the narrators. It was really distracting, and in the first half of the book, I had to keep adjusting the volume between narrators.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The book is probably worth a read, but I really didn't like some of the voice acting in this audiobook and had to stop.
The voice actor for Jordyn has a lovely voice and I initially had high hopes for this story. But I really don't like the voice acting for Harlow. This character just sounds so antagonistic, petulant and judgey in every single sentence. I'm sure that was intentional to a certain extent, as Harlow is very unhappy with her situation at the start of the story. But to me, it was just way too much and made the character sound extremely annoying and unlikeable.1 person found this helpful
