      Omg, Ilya and Shane... What can I say... That was perfect, truly perfect. I felt so sad at times. Is definitely a book that will make you feel, sometimes something good, sometimes something incredibly sad. What you need to know about this book is that they love each other and this is the proof of that.

      I was so excited to find out about this sequel and it did NOT disappoint! Easily one of my favorite romance novel couples. Glad author gave Ilya more depth. Her handling of mental health issues was superb. Bravo! Here's to wishing for a third book!

      OMG I love this series so much!!! This book made me ugly cry, this book made me laugh, this book made me have all the feels. Can't wait to see what Rachel Reid has in store for us next. I love love love this series!

      Went directly from Heated Rivalry to Long Game so it was just a very long very emotional roller coaster. I loved to see their growth from the ways they unintentionally hurt themselves and each other in the beginning to trusting, communicating and supporting eachother in the end. It sucks that Shane's original team totally bailed on him personally and professionally like that. I can see the distrust, but it's also just a game and it's one he'd been leading them through to many wins and losses for years. You'd think more than 2 of them would stay friends after that even if they didn't play together anymore.

      I loved this couple and I loved reading more of and about them. It could have been shorter, though because they kept circling around the same issues over and over. there was not much honest communication between the guys and that was painful to endure. At some point I just wanted to shake them and hit them over the back of their heads. Obtuse much!!!!

      It was satisfying ? to see Shane and llya finally get to come clean and open about their relationship! OMG llya was hilarious ?, I just loved that guy!! The narrator Cooper North did a fantastic job ? with his narration. Shane was Shane, always over thinking things and worrying and the serious one out of the couple but opposites attract right?!? Some reviewers said some unfavorable things about Shane but that was his personality from the other book so I don't know why readers would want him to change. I was seriously disappointed ? in Shane's team mates and friends when it came out about their relationship. This book also highlighted on some of llya's family history of depression and llya going to get help, and letting people know it's not an easy fix…
      This book and series couldn't have had a better ending for me!! ??

      Rachel Reid is absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend all her books and this is no exception but make sure to read Heated Rivalry before this one.
