About this audiobook
After the initial series of summer blizzards, the snowfall has decreased, but the temperatures continue to drop, the icy wind still blows, and with each passing day, the darkness lasts longer and longer.
It is in the darkness the monsters thrive.
Confined to the lake house and having no communication with the outside world, Grady and the others live every day in fear, questioning what the future holds. Will the snow melt? Will the sun ever rise? Can the wraiths be defeated?
But as the days turn to weeks, no answers come. Soon, the survivors' supplies lessen, and rather they're ready to or not, they must venture out into the snowy wasteland.
They must fight.
That is, if they want to continue to survive.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a fantastic series with great character development and suspense. The narration brings the book to life and the author's descriptions allow readers to visually experience the snow-covered apocalypse. Although some feel the series could have been condensed into one novel, readers are still enjoying each book. The horror element is present but not overwhelming. Overall, readers highly recommend this series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved it!This series is great!Narration byMstt Godfrey was very good.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I am STILL obsessed with these characters and whatever the hell is ALIVE and watching in 'the Snow!' Starting book 3 right now! This book made me tear up more than once!!! Damn it,
Richard - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The character build up in this series is fantastic, I actually cried at the end of this book. With the suspense building with each senario, I really feel this could have been 1 novel instead of 3 but what can I say, I still am enjoying book 2 as much as book 1. You have to read this series in order for each book to mean somehing, there is no recap or flash back bringing you up to speed, it just jumps right into the next book. The horror showed up but there isn't a lot of it nor did I miss it. So far, I really like the narrator who is successfully bringing the book to life. The author gives wonderful descriptions, allowing you to step into this incredible snow covered apocalypse visually. This combination of narrator and author works...the narrator gets what the author wants and is doing a great job depicting the author's vision. I'm ready to jump into book 3, I have my fingers crossed it continues to be as good as 1 and 2.
