Welcome Letter

FOR ME, NOTHING SAYS CELEBRATE more than a glass of something bubbly. It started when I was a child – my nan used to order a crate of miniature glass bottles of cherry cheer, creaming soda, sarsaparilla, lemonade and many other flavours for Christmas from the cordial factory in Kyogle, NSW. At home, my brother and I weren’t allowed fizzy drinks, so it was a treat for us and something I came to associate with Christmas time. My mum has continued the tradition, but with her own twist. She has served up spiders (either double sarsaparilla or red creaming soda) to my kids every Boxing Day
