SO MUCH JOY

Some years ago my daughter, Kathryn, bought me a subscription to Woman’s Weekly as a Mother’s Day gift. It’s a present that gives me so much pleasure. The magazine is always full of interest, humour, and sometimes the sadness and endurance of readers’ complex lives – more often than not, their beloved pets are involved. And I am constantly amazed by the skill of people in the crafts projects they undertake, however daunting.
