Letter of the week

Tried and tasted

I’ve attached a couple of pictures of a Woman’s Weekly dated 11 February 1984 and the recipe inside for the Ultimate Chocolate Cake. I first made it for my son Simon’s first birthday party and last week I made it for his 40th. It’s a great favourite with all the family and I have made it for many occasions, as evidenced by the stains on the page!
