Big Sur Takeaway

Command Centre: The Command Centre is Big Sur’s one-stop-shop for accessing the system’s Wi-Fi, display brightness, volume controls, Do Not Disturb and more.

Widgets: Widgets are accessed from the Notifications menu, scroll through the notifications to the bottom and click Edit Widgets. The Widgets can be dragged into position and are continually updated, so check back regularly for more content.

Notifications: Remember to click on the date/time in the top-right corner of the desktop to get to your recent notifications. Notifications are grouped and clicking on the group will expand the individual messages.

Launchpad: The Launchpad, from the Dock, is where you’ll find your installed apps. Remember to scroll to the right to see more apps as they’re installed and check app group folders, such as Other, for more.
