Love GOES ON

Mick comes into the pub and when he sees me, his face lights up with a smile. I’m not at all sure what the fluttering in my stomach is all about. I mean, Mick has been my best friend since we were at playgroup.

True, we didn’t see much of each other while he was in a relationship with Sophie. I don’t think she approved of him having a female best friend – which was ridiculous. There was absolutely nothing between us.
