Lesley Bieniak from Little Bits in Melbourne, Australia has a wonderful Graduated Glitter technique to share with our readers today! This is one of Lesley's favourite techniques where you use three shades of glitter to decorate a stamped image, in this case Lesley has used the Geometric Ovals and Geometric Gems Abstract Stamps! Take a look at these gorgeous cards using this technique:
The glitter really gives the cards a beautiful shimmer and brings these Abstract Stamps to life! The Geometric Ovals stamp can look like hanging lanterns, especially when used with warm yellow, orange and peach colours! Here's another card, this time using the Geometric Gems Abstract Stamp and the Brushed Sentiments Stamp Set:
The Geometric Gems Abstract Stamp used with glitter creates a dazzling effect! Here's some close ups of the cards so you can see the glitter and how it makes the cards shine!
Lesley has paired the Geometric Ovals with the Birthday Sentiment Stamp and Fine Butterflies Stamp Set to complete the card. The stamps were embossed with Gold Embossing Powder too!
Lesley used the same Birthday Sentiment Stamp on this card too, by using one of the sentiments and cutting out the words individually to space out over the card. They are a very versatile stamps!
