Hat and scarf set "Stripes", 2 knitting patterns

This collection contains 2 knitting patterns. Both are easy to knit and stylish, a set of hat and scarf with funky stripes.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Basically you should be able to knit and purl. In addition, the hat is worked in rounds on a set of 5 DPNs (or circulars, if you prefer) and requires knowledge of easy decreases (knit 2 stitches together).

Size Information

The hat comes in sizes child and adult medium, 40, 45cm (16, 18in) circumference; 17, 20cm (6 3/4, 8in) in length. The stitch pattern is stretchy.
Scarf: 180cm (72in) length, 14cm (5 3/4in) width. This is the size of my sample. The scarf can be worked to any size.

Materials List

Hat:
Yarn: Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 (75% wool, 25% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), 1 skein of each color. Sample in adult size used 88m (96yds) of color 1 (red) and 113m (123yds) of color 2 (white).
Needles: 3.5mm/US 4 set of 5 DPNs or circular needles
Notions: yarn needle, 1 stitch marker (optional, only needed when using circular needles)

Scarf:
Yarn: Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 (75% wool, 25% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), 2 skeins of color 1 (white) and 1 skein of color 2 (red). Sample with 11 pattern repeats used 260m (284yds) of color 1 and 71m (78yds) of color 2.
Needles: 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles
Notions: yarn needle
