Urban flooding has not only become a major threat to Kenema City, Eastern Sierra Leone but to urban communities in the country situated on river confluence or basins. The threats included all but the following; socio-economic and above all environmental impacts. Sierra Leone records flooding every year despite strategies adopted by government and partners in mitigating its consequences on both rural and urban communities. The floods have had negative implications on urban communities’ livelihoods, infrastructure, lives and above all socio-economic activities. This study investigated the 374 respondents of Pamantasan ng Cabuyao on their level of awareness, attitude and level of compliance with RA11313 Safe Spaces Act thru the use of descriptive-correlational method based on the results of the three-part researcher-made questionnaire. The findings showed the respondents’ high level of awareness, the very positive attitude, and the very high level of compliance to RA11313 Safe Spaces Act. As to the relationship between variables, the findings showed significant relationships between the level of awareness and attitude; level of awareness and level of compliance; and attitude and level of compliance of the respondents with RA11313 Safe Spaces Act. In Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region, there has been an increase in alcohol consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic period. The institution of lockdowns and consequent alcohol misuse has been associated with economic challenges and worsening psychosocial conditions. Stress-inducing changes in interpersonal, financial, and broader social dynamics have resulted in increased reports of depression, interpersonal abuse, aggressive behaviours, anxiety, and even suicidality, leading those affected to more frequent and more heavy alcohol use as a coping mechanism. This review focused on trends of alcohol use during the pandemic in Grenada, and it also explored the economic and psychosocial factors that contributed to adverse outcomes of alcohol use. Determination of heavy metals in soil and wine is very important for wine quality and consumer health, but at the same time it is a complementary tool for differentiating wines according to their geographical origin. In this work, soils and ten brands of wines originated from four major wine-growing areas of Romania (Iaşi, Babadag, Ştefăneşti and Blaj) were considered for performing a multielement (Cr, Ni, Cu, As, Pb, Hg, V, Sr, Mn, Zn, Fe) investigation in order to assess regional specificity. Heavy metals found in the investigated wines were below the limits imposed by European standards (O.I.V.) the elements concentrations following the trend: Zn>Fe>Mn>Sr>Ni>Cr>Cu>Pb>V>Hg>As. For the soils analyzed, the heavy metals content was found to be below the maximum permitted limit, except for Cu (135.45 mg/kg) from the Iaşi vineyard, which was at the permitted limit. The purpose of this study, to determine the difficulties or problems faced by science teachers in the process of science teaching using ILE and what kind of solutions teachers offer about these problems or difficulties. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and the work enviroment on employee performance at Kantor Camat Juhar Kabupaten Karo. The number of samples in this study were 18 respondents who were Civil Servants at the Office of the Sub-District Head of Mark Karo Regency. Library research and field research were used in this research. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing was performed using ttest, Ftest and determination coefficient test. The results of the study obtained multiple regression equations Y=2,290-0,158X1+0,766X2, which explains that the regression coefficients possessed by the variables of ability and work experience give a positive direction to the performance of the employees of the Karo District Head Office. My article explores some aspects of Theodor W. Adorno's work in relation to contemporary music in general and electroacoustic music in particular. Let us recall that Adorno never seriously considered the latter, which he regarded more as a technological bricolage than as a legitimate source for the production of works. One of the purposes of this paper is to demonstrate that under the definition of musique informelle, Adorno opens wide the door to all musics, even those that do not depend directly on musical writing.

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the physical, mental, and social well-being of millions of people across the globe. This paper will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on preexisting and emerging mental health issues amongst various subgroups of the vulnerable population in Southeast Asia. Methods: Qualitative review of existing knowledge on mental health issues during COVID-19 pandemic among migrant laborers, women and adolescents. The current study completely delves into the comprehensive identification, assessment, and mitigation of trade deficit in Nepal. The objective of this article is to study and analyze the growth, composition, and direction of Nepalese foreign trade along with the causes and recommendations of trade deficit. Efforts have been made to sort out the principal sources of the trade deficit in Nepal. Landlockedness, political instability, lack of export diversification, devaluation of domestic currency, lack of resources, etc. are the major causes of the trade deficit in Nepal. Nepal, being not self-reliant on factors of production, consumer goods and capital goods, needs to import goods from abroad. On another hand, Nepal's exports are heavily concentrated; both in terms of product and destination. Nepal's major trading partners are India, China, U.A.E, Bangladesh, Germany etc. During the year 2018/19, Nepal exports goods worth RS. 97 Billion And import goods worth RS. 1418 billion leading to a trade deficit of RS.1321 Billion. Nepal mainly exports readymade garments, woolen carpets, pashmina products, jute, juices, etc and imports petroleum products, gold, vehicle, machineries and so on. It is a matter of embarrassing that the value of total exports doesn't cover even the import of petroleum products. Trade deficit is acting as negative catalyst in the economic growth and GDP of a country. Nepal's job and wealth are being handed over to other countries that have taken advantage of Nepal since very long. Increased deficit has caused suppressed inflation. Import to export ratio is continuously increasing as demand/consumption is increasing and these demands could not be met by the domestic producers. During the year 2018/19, the contribution of trade on GDP of Nepal is 55%. No doubt, trade is an engine of economic growth. So, after analyzing barriers in the foreign trade, some of the steps to be taken are recommended which includes the development of competitive ability and enhancement of Human Resources, commodity and market diversification, formulation of strong legal framework and trade policy, incentives for the promotion of export and priority in the agricultural and hydropower sectors.
