This examination will define and delineate the process of grief and bereavement as well as investigate grief through the lens of several seminal bereavement theorists. In addition, further exploration of research by several of the prominent modern theorists whose models are often used to assist with the grief process will be discussed, including controversies surrounding the models and grief therapy as a whole. Finally the discussion will revolve around determining the efficacy of each theory in correlation to how it may be effectively used with bereaved clients.

This paper reviews truth in media research materials regarding personal savings and retirement planning.  An initial review of financial literacy in American society precedes a comprehensive review of personal financial plans, budgeting, debt reduction, savings, investing and retirement tools and advice available to individuals to build secure financial futures and provide wealth strategies for future generations.  This author provides a succinct account of the value of utilizing personal financial planning tools, building an emergency fund, saving and investment tools, including retirement options such as 401-K and IRAs, and wealth-building tools including insurance options.  Additionally, this author compares and contrasts the media research materials with course materials and sums up the paper by discussing how the financial coach can use the material to assist clients and apply biblical application in coaching.
