Security and safety are growing in popularity as time goes on, and they are being enhanced and utilised to make our lives easier. Technology has now permeated every aspect of human life, so protecting the security of one's home, place of business, or organisation cannot be overlooked. Developing a smart receptionist with a smart lock system was mostly done for security reasons. When the front entrance of the house, business, or organisation is closed, this clever security system is employed to detect a visitor. The Raspberry Pi and Telegram bot are used in this setup to issue commands that operate the door lock. In this system, anytime a person approaches the door, the PIR sensor detects their presence, activates the camera, records a 5second video of the individual, and sends a notification to the user via Telegram. The system will open the door if the owner permits entry, and the door will remain locked if the owner forbids entry using commands sent through the Telegram bot.

Protection, security, and safety are the most important things in our daily life. These days, the advancement of Technology has evolved into one of the leading IoT-based projects such as smart home technology. For An instance, this type of system makes livelihood more safe, convenient, and secure. people are more familiar with these technologies nowadays and smart home applications provide a controlled way of action just within the tip of a finger, for example, managing the schedules for home lightning, electricity bills, groceries list, and home security as well. the facial and fingerprint recognition of authorized persons is well established to keep the homes more secured for accessibility. A setup of a display monitor connection with the camera in front of the door is also required to send the information to the owner who is trying to enter his house through that door and the owner has the right to give access to the person who wants to open the door. Even we can provide voice lock by texting voice with raspberry pi arm processor which can revert any messages to the owner. To satisfy all these needs we came up with a new solution that is more secure, reliable, looks, and works smart. For this, we used a raspberry pi microcontroller linked with a biometric sensor for fingerprint recognition and a camera module for capturing the user image and used a bot in telegram for communication like sending alert messages and receiving commands from the owner.

The whole world is moving towards a smarter life, smarter cities and houses. In this paper, we purpose to build a smart door security system to increase the public safety from intruders. The system provides a set of easy and more secure options for the owner to unlock his door; the lock can detect your recorded fingerprint and unlock the door. It can also unlock the door through a set of knocks, the owner can record a specific pattern and once the owner knock on the door the system than will unlock the door if it matches the recorded knock pattern, it also can unlock it through smart phone Bluetooth, this option come in handy if the owner forgets the knock pattern. Moreover, it gives the owner's guests the ability to record a voice message and leave it if he is not at home.

Today, the provision of a home security system has become an important study in adopting the latest technology to achieve this goal. Wireless network is one of the technologies used to provide remote monitoring and control of household items. This paper aims to propose a key departmental security system based on Raspberry pi technology where cameras, keypad and pi-lids are used to provide a terrific powerful system to notify the owner, and to inform visitors by giving them a User ID. For this reason, only authorized people will be allowed to enter the departments. The system works by capturing guests with a summary with a code and a camera mounted on the doors at the same time, such snippets will be sent to the owner. Security has always been an important issue in the home or office. A remote home security system offers many more benefits apart from keeping home owners, and their property, safe from intruders. The system is composed of the Doorbell interfaced with Raspberry pi, whoever press the doorbell, the camera gets triggered and capture their face and it checking for their face with its database which already has registered faces, if it is an authorized person door will open, otherwise it sends an OTP with their photograph of the intruder to server mail. Only when non authorized person entered that OTP, that face gets added to the authorized person’s database to open the door. Smart doorbells allow home owners to receive alerts when a visitor is at the door, see who the guest is, and communicate with the visitor from a smart device. They greatly improve people’s life quality and contribute to the evolution of smart homes

In terms of house security, the door is pivotal. To keep the hearthstone secure, the proprietor will keep the door locked at all times. Still, owing to a rush when leaving the house, the proprietor may forget to lock the door, or they may be doubtful if they've closed the door or not. Wireless security grounded operation have fleetly increased due to the dramatic enhancement of ultramodern technologies. Numerous access control systems were designed and/or enforced grounded on different types of wireless communication technologies by different people. Radio Frequency identification (RFID) is a contactless technology that's extensively used in several diligences for tasks like access control system, book shadowing in libraries, tollgate system, forced chain operation, and so on. For enforcing this design, we will be using Arduino mega 2560 pro mini, a fingerprint sensor, Keypad module. ESP-32 CAM module, RFID sensor, solenoid lock and ESP8266. We have also created an application for monitoring and controlling the security features of the door lock. We can also open the door through mobile fingerprint.
A door which serves as an entrance to the home or office isn't just about keeping the bad guys out, it's also about letting the right people in-like family, friends. With the Smart door access system, you can lock or unlock door from your smartphone over internet or Bluetooth and allow entry for you family, friends.[4] An android application will be used to interface the door locking system, making it easier for the people to control the very door itself remotely.[1] Facial Recognition is also used for making it easier to unlock the door, by just looking into camera one can unlock door, given, his image is present in the database. Smartphone's application based control will require an internet connection.[8] Project is designed keeping in the mind the complete security and automation of the homes/offices.

The objective of this project is to facilitate the user with a simple and customised technology to effectively manage visitors flowing to his/her premises. It is a real time smart doorbell notification system for home security. The system combines the functions of a smart and a house network system. It enables the users to monitor visitors in real time via the IOT based doorbell installed near the entrance door to a house. The doorbell can be controlled in a smart way to intimate the user with a picture and a text message of the visitor at the doorstep. When a visitor rings the doorbell, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number of the house member and the response in the form of an SMS will be displayed on an LCD screen placed beside the door so that the visitor can read the SMS and act accordingly. Crime cases involving house breaks and theft are on the rise yearly. It was reported that during the Covid 19 breakout, house breaks cases were rampant. Due to this situation, this project focused on developing gate monitoring and authentication system for landed houses in Malaysia. The proposed system in this paper used the IoT and embedded image processing technique, where Raspberry Pi acted as the main brain of the system combined with embedded face recognition technique. OpenCV and Python are used for the face recognition module with Raspbian OS. The system works when a camera detects and capture an image at the entrance, the system searches the database while a message is sent to the owner through Telegram and the captured image is sent to Gmail, if the captured image is not in the database, no entry is granted and otherwise. The prototype system objectives are to notify owner when there is a visitor, identify the identities of the visitor and authenticate the authority for admission.
