A cooling purpose is very important for both man and machine. In general vapour compression refrigeration system and vapour absorption refrigeration system are used for refrigeration purpose. Non-conventional type of cooling system means Vortex tube cooling system which is not used widely for cooling purpose. Vortex tube has many advantages over the conventional cooling system. Separating cold and hot streams by using vortex tube can be used in industrial application such as cooling equipment's and refrigerants. Important parameters in vortex tube are cross section area of cold and hot end, nozzle area of inlet compressed air, cold orifice area, and hot end area of the tube.

Conventional refrigeration systems are using Freon as refrigerant. As they are the main cause for depletion of ozone layer, extensive research work is going on alternate refrigeration systems. A vortex tube is a simple device which splits a high pressure gas stream into a cold and hot stream without any chemical reactions or external energy supply. It is a mechanical device without any moving parts. The splitting of flow into regions of low and high temperature range is referred to as the temperature separation effect. The performance of vortex tube depends on two basic parameters, first is the working parameter such as inlet pressure of compressed air, and the other one is geometric parameters such as number of nozzles , diameter of nozzle, cone valve angle, length of hot side tube, cold orifice diameter, and as well as material of vortex tube. A vortex tube works as a splitter of compressed gas stream bifurcating it into a hot and a cold stream without putting into use any chemical reaction or any external source of energy. This work focuses on variable geometries at the "hot end side" which are subjected to variable inlet parameters and the outcome of such an experiment is discussed. Hot end plugs have been employed to achieve the results. Three vortex tubes were designed, fabricated and tested for maximum temperature drop. A detailed experimental analysis has been worked upon to detail out the behaviour of the vortex tube. A suitably designed test rig has been helpful in investigating the role of geometrical parameters such as the angle of the inline conical valve, tip diameter of the inline conical valve.

This paper represents the experimentation of the Vortex Tube Refrigeration system. Vortex tube also is known as Ranque-Hilsch Vortex tube. A Vortex Tube is a Mechanical Device, which generates cold and hot streams from a single injection of pressurized gas. Without any moving parts or chemical reaction within the tube, the intersecting phenomenon of energy separation results only from fluid dynamic effects. The Control valve is a screw located at the hot end and cold end with thread on it which is used to restrict the flow of air due to which the small forced vortex takes place after stagnation point and free vortex getaway through the hot end as hot air and cold end as cold air. At the other end, a small orifice plate is located to further reduce the temperature Drop. The 2.5 HP compressors are used for experimentation for low pressures. Also, for higher pressures, it is difficult with a low capacity compressor to get accurate results. For this purpose, a model has been developed using experimental data to predict the results for the pressure range of 1to 6 bar. We have attached the Thermo-electric module to the system to generate electricity without affecting the efficiency of the system.

In this article I demonstrate how listeners understand musical processes with their bodies, and how their gestures can be used to build analytical models. Specifically, I draw on the phenomenology of Maurice Merleau-Ponty to argue that situated, active listeners project their motor intentional gestures inside music, where they reconstitute the very nature of musical space and its objects according to their own unique perspective. Rather than passively reflecting gestures of performers, these listeners use their own bodily states to create the structure and meaning of music. I illustrate how those states can be mobilized for analysis by taking quantifiable features of gestures––acceleration and temporal profiles––as models of musical structure, and using those models as a basis for analytical narratives.
