ABSTRACT Microsoft Word is a word processing program that is used to create professional looking documents such as reports, resumes, letters, memos, and newsletters.it included many powerful tools that can be used to easily create and edit documents, and collaborate with others. this book provides an overview of the word user interface and covers how to perform basic tasks such as starting and existing the program ,creating, saving, opening, closing, editing, paragraph formatting (including line spacing, indenting and creating bulleted or numbered list)and document formatting (including headers and footers), and printing documents, applying styles and other automatic formatting options, creating tables, applying borders and shading to text and tables, and inserting graphics into document and getting help. Microsoft Excel is a tool that can be used in virtually all careers and is valuable in both professional and personal settings. Whether you need to keep track of medications in inventory for a hospital or create a financial plan for your retirement, Excel enables you to do these activities efficiently and accurately. Microsoft Excel includes the knowledge and skills required to analyze information in an electronic worksheet and to format information using function specific to spreadsheet formatting. Topics include the ability to use formulas and functions, sort data, modify the structure of an electronic worksheet, and edit and format data in worksheet cells. Elements also include the ability to display information graphically using charts, and to analysis worksheet data as it appears in tables or graphs. Microsoft PowerPoint includes the knowledge and skills required to communicate effectively with presentation software, and to use simple functions specific to creating and editing presentations. This work explain the ability to create and modify slides in presentation, create different types of presentation output and identify the most effective ways to use a presentation program to communicate with others. Systems biology can unravel complex biology but has not been extensively applied to human newborns, a group highly vulnerable to a wide range of diseases. We optimized methods to extract transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, cytokine/chemokine, and single cell immune phenotyping data from <1 ml of blood, a volume readily obtained from newborns. Indexing to baseline and applying innovative integrative computational methods reveals dramatic changes along a remarkably stable developmental trajectory over the first week of life. This is most evident in changes of interferon and complement pathways, as well as neutrophil-associated signaling. Validated across two independent cohorts of newborns from West Africa and Australasia, a robust and common trajectory emerges, suggesting a purposeful rather than random developmental path. Systems biology and innovative data integration can provide fresh insights into the molecular ontogeny of the first week of life, a dynamic developmental phase that is key for health and disease.

Antes de empezar a tratar el Problema de los Eigenvalores de la Teoría Cuántica para sistemas especiales adicionales, queremos examinar más detalladamente la conexión general que existe entre la Ecuación Diferencial Parcial de Hamilton (EDPH) de un problema mecánico y la Ecuación de Onda ``asociada'', es decir, la ecuación (5) de la primera Comunicación en el caso del problema de Kepler. While research focusing on friendships of sexual minority individuals has increased over the last two decades, studies of transgender persons " friendships have been largely absent. Yet, within mainstream literature it has been demonstrated that friendships are central both to identity formation and as support in terms of psychological need and distress. Given that trans people face important identity challenges and may well be disenfranchised within society the role of friendships warrants study. Research which has occurred has largely focussed on trans women, yet trans men face particular issues in terms of their relationships with lesbian women and being positioned as joining patriarchy. This study explored this gap in the literature and used Foucauldian discourse analysis to explore friendship and gender identity. Dominant discourses identified included " friends as family " , " romance " and discursive practices of " disowning male privilege " , " effeminate heterosexual male " and " gender fluidity " which counter hegemonic (trans) male re-positioning within friendships. The results indicate that trans men elevate the status of friends to those of other culturally dominant relationships (e.g. family or sexual partner). Furthermore, their friendships, in particular friendships with lesbian women, can become complex platforms from which to contest privilege and power

O processo civil é tradicionalmente tratado como se fosse essencialmente neutro e técnico, em grande parte autônomo em relação ao direito substantivo. O objetivo deste artigo é fornecer uma pequena janela e penetrar luzes sobre como o processo judicial pode servir de instrumento para a manutenção da ordem política e social e a hegemonia imposta pela classe dominante. O método utilizado é o hipotético-dedutivo com abordagem qualitativa. O exame dos textos legais sobre procedimentos é baseado em livros, artigos, decisões do Supremo Tribunal Federal e Superior Tribunal de Justiça. Para decodificar uma parte do discurso de poder, são eleitos os preceitos apresentados por Claus Offe em sua teoria da seletividade das instituições para demonstrar as condições sob as quais a pressão das classes dominantes pode influenciar o comportamento do Estado. Como resultado, o processo judicial é identificado como um dos mecanismos ínsitos à estrutura estatal que trabalham na seleção de interesses em proveito do capital. A estrutura e função do procedimento civil envolvem uma seletividade que não aparece, ocultando sobre quem e quais direitos serão tutelados em várias oportunidades.

The accuracy with which preclinical studies performed on infrahuman mammals predict the efficacy and safety of potential new therapeutics intended for human use is a topic of interest and concern to preclinical scientists, physicians, veterinarians, regulators, and patients everywhere. Factors that impact the potential accuracy of preclinical assessments of safety and efficacy in surrogate species for humans include substantial differences in the mechanisms of cardiac repolarization and excitation-contraction coupling, as well as in the isoforms of the heart's contractile proteins. Some species are so similar to humans that they suffer the same spontaneous heart diseases and yet so different that toxic doses of drugs or interventions that would be instantly fatal to a human have literally no effect on them. These differences are in part explained by the sometimes enormous differences in size and scale among species and in part by genetic and biochemical differences that we have only recently begun to understand. In reviewing some of the more striking species differences and similarities in cardiovascular physiology, this article hopes to stimulate interest in and inform the choices of scientists involved in surrogate model selection as they work to improve both the positive and negative predictive value of preclinical drug studies.
