Communication with mute people is a tedious task if you are not familiar with the sign language. One of the most difficult aspects of visual impairment is the lack of orientation in unknown environments, both outdoor and indoor, resulting in dependency on sighted individuals for navigation. Smart Glove is introduced as a solution to these problems. The system mainly consists of Arduino Uno Board, Ultrasonic Sensor, Flex Sensors, Bluetooth Module, Accelerometer, GPS Module and GSM Module. The ultrasonic sensor detects the obstacles by sending and receiving signals. The flex sensors and accelerometer is used to sense hand movements. These signals are fed into a microcontroller unit which has internal ADCs which converts the analogue data to digital form speech signal and can be heard through speaker. GPS and GSM modules are used to provide the location of the person that helps them to send alarm in case of an emergency.

Communication is the only way by which we are able to express our thoughts among the peoples. Normal people can convey their thoughts effectively by establishing the conversation between them. But in our society there are lot of people who are physically disable that means (deaf and dumb) are not able to communicate effectively. Because of this their disability they are not able to stand in race with the normal people. Some of the people have problem regarding hearing and some are not able to talk so they lag behind the normal people. Generally this people uses the sign language for the communication but they find some problem in communication with those are not able to understand sign language. So their is problem between normal people and physically disable people. This system has main purpose to reduce the communication gap between two communities. The main aim of our proposed project is to developed the cost effective system where disable people can communicate with normal people by using hand glove. This means that communication is not barrier between two communities by using smart glove. So disable can also able to grow in their respective field. Using such system by disable people can make nation grow.

In our life we meet many disable people, some of them are partially and some are completely disable. The partially impaired people like dumb, deaf and blind manages their life with difficulties and feel separated from others. Here communication plays a major role and make them feel better and help them to indulge in an activity where they can see themselves as an independent person. This undertaking proposes a technique to structure an Electronic Hand Glove for Blind and Dumb individuals which will help them in setting up correspondence between Blind/Dumb and the outside world. The glove utilizes a ultrasonic sensor to distinguish an encompassing object and create a humming sound with the assistance of signal to alarm the Blinds and for a Dumb it utilizes metal contact, Bluetooth Module, Micro controller (Arduino Nano) to build up correspondence with others by giving them a 'virtual voice' .The entire arrangement works with Android application by means of Bluetooth. The gloves utilize 12 distinct orders that are both perceptible and visual on any Android cell phone by means of an application.

In this modern world the physical challenged people face many problems. The deaf people are trained with sign language but normal people cannot understand this sign language so the communication becomes very difficult. In some situations, the deaf people have some emergency, when a deaf person traveling alone, if they need to communicate with nearby people or convey a message, it becomes very difficult to communicate. Thus, this smart glove system is implemented here this smart glove consists of the flex sensors and the Arduino uno. When the deaf people are alone and not able to communicate using normal language, they use this sign language for communication. This Sign language is not understandable by all normal person. when this smart glove is used by the deaf person the information is absorbed by the flex sensors and processed by the aurdino uno which is fixed in the glove. And the information is used conveyed through text and audio using Bluetooth module, which is understandable by the normal person. Keyword-flex sensor, arduino uno, node mcu

The paper describes an aiding device for the deaf, dumb and physically challenged people .Such people are made to wear gloves fitted with flex sensors whose resistance change with each gesture shown by them. This produces a voltage change and the PIC microcontroller will display the codes corresponding to each gesture on LCD and the sound code is heard via speaker. Also this device helps to control on-off of devices like fan, bulb etc.by means of RF transmitters and receivers.A wireless camera fitted near the door enables image recognition and automatic control of door opening. The system can also send an sms to a prestored mobile number via GSM modem in case of an emergency.

Every Normal human being sees, listens and then reacts to the situations by speaking himself out. But there are some human beings those who are not able to speak or listen, but they try to react through actions most of time normal people are not able to understand what they want to say. This application will help for both of them to communicate with each other. It consists of several parts, in part one with the help of hand gestures the signs will be detected by the sensors and the output will be given.

Smart Gloves aims to lower the communication barrier among disabled people. In this project, the disabled refers to those people who cannot speak and hear. Smart Glove is an electronic device that can translate sign language into text and speech. It contains IR sensors connected through pipes along the length of each finger which will be used to produce the gestures. These have pre-recorded gestures based on a language which when performed by the disabled person (i.e. a dumb person and deaf) would produce corresponding audio/text output in the mobile application, so that a person with or without disabilities can understand. For instance, if the other person is blind then the output will be audio signals generated through the mobile application. Our goal is to achieve communication among disabled people so that they can communicate among themselves and others.

Communication is the main medium by which we can share our contemplations or pass on the message yet for an individual with handicap faces trouble in communication with typical person. The issues looked by the hard of hearing and unable to speak individuals right now and the challenges of their communication with typical people started our advantage and drove us to attempt to discover an answer for their challenges and to limit them as much as conceivable. Since they speak to a huge piece of society and they have to convey their thoughts in the easiest manner by straightforward gadgets. So our venture points to connect this hole by empowering communication among moronic and hard of hearing individuals from one perspective and typical individuals on other hand by presenting an reasonable electronic gadget that makes an interpretation of the fingers presses into the content and discourse.

Communication is that the only medium by which we will share our thoughts or convey the message except for a person with disability (deaf and dumb) faces difficulty in communication with normal person. Because of this, a person who lacks in hearing and speaking ability isn't ready to substitute race with normal person. Communication for a peson that cannot hear or speak is visual, not auditory and the one that cannot see is auditory, not visual. Generally dumb people use sign language to communicate, but they find difficulty in communicating with others who does not understand sign language. So there is an obstacle in communication between these two communities. This work aims to lower this obstacle in communication. The main aim of the proposed project is to develop a price effective system which can formulate to deaf and dumb person with the assistance of Gloves. It means using gloves communication won't be an obstacle between two different communities. With the assistance of these gloves disabled person also can get chance to grow in their respective carrier. Using such devices by disabled person also makes nation grow with their growth as we all know that though they have some disability but they are highly talented in some or the other field.

People who are specially challenged, i.e. deaf and dumb are unable to communicate with their fellow mates. To overcome this issue, these gloves are designed. With the usage of these gloves, deaf and dumb people can translate hand gestures into visual output as well as audio output. To simplify the daily chores of those people there is functionality in the gloves which can be utilized to control home appliances just by using hand gestures.

Every day we see many people who are facing illness like deaf, dumb, blind etc. Generally deaf-dumb people use sign language for communication, but they find difficulty in communicating with others who don't understand sign language. Due to which communications between deaf-dumb and a normal person have always been a challenging task. We propose to develop a device which can convert the hand gestures of a deaf-mute person into speech. An image processing technique called Histogram of gradient (HOG) along with artificial neural network (ANN) has been used to train the system. Web Camera is used to take the image of different gestures and that will be used as input to the system. The software will recognize the image and identifies the gestures which will then compare it with the given database and gives the output through speaker and LCD. An audio module is also interfaced with the controller as a input which will take voice from the user, convert it to text form and display it to LCD.
