Med denne samtidsdiagnosticering indleder redaktørene Lundin og Åkesson deres svenske antologi, hvori ikke bare kroppens tid men også tidens krop er sat på den kulturanalytiske dagsorden. Med citatet peges på én af de antagelser, som er gennemgående for hele bogen, nemlig den, at et karakteristikon for den senmoderne verden er, at kroppen i stigende grad betragtes som locus for det enkelte menneskes identitet og personlighed. Redaktørenes sigte med bogen er dog ikke at belyse, hvorfor det forholder sig sådan, men snarere hvor og hvordan faenomenet kommer til udtryk. At bogen favner bredt fremgår allerede af titlens flertydighed. Den refererer ikke bare til kroppens biologiske tid men også til den kulturelle tid og de livsmønstre, som omgiver os på kanten til det 21. århundrede. Perception of colour stimuli is found to trigger corresponding emotional and behavioural responses within human beings. Literature establishes that red is stimulating while blue is pacifying. There seems to be divided theories on how these associations are being generated. It is argued widely that colour associated emotional responses are learnt and subjective while another theory is that it is a general innate response. A third theory discusses about a combination of both learnt and innate responses. The present paper reviews literature on the above three suppositions and enlightens on a study done seeking innate, general emotional reactions triggered by colour stimuli.

The Pavia University Library hosts four tenor partbooks, so far unknown, from the second edition of Gian Domenico Montella’s four books of three- and four- part Villanelle. Two items are unica; they belong to Montella’s First and Second Book, issued by Gargano & Nucci (Naples, 1612). The other two come from Montella’s Third and Fourth Book; a second copy is at the National Central Library, Florence. One was, again, printed by Gargano & Nucci (1613). The other, issued by Giacomo Carlino (1612), differs from the Florence copy because of Scipione Riccio’s interesting dedication to Don Francesco Ruffo, Duke of Bagnara, which informs us on the motives for a second edition and says, “My crave was to revive Montella’s almost extinct name and fame”. This essay tries to explain why the second edition had three books published by Gargano & Nucci and one—probably issued first—by Carlino, the only one with a dedication (at least in the Pavia copy).
