Bu makalede, Ordu Mesudiye Esatlı ve Ankara Güdül Salihler Kartalkaya alanlarından, daha önce yayımlamış olduğumuz, cüzzam konulu iki Batı Türk oyma yazılı adak yazıtını iki alan arasında birebir karşılaştırma amacıyla yeniden sunuyoruz. Her ikisi de eşlik eden Oğuz boy damgaları ve bir yazıtta ayrıca töz kuşu çizimiyle açık Türk(-Oğuz) imzalı iki yazıt arasında içerik, söz varlığı ve anlatım biçimi bakımından hemen hiçbir ayırt yok. Fakat dil açısından iki yazıt arasında küçük bir lehçesel ayrım görülüyor: Esatlı (Apa İçin Yakarış) af-'iyileştirmek' (< ab- ay.), ėf-'ivmek, acele etmek' (< ėb- ay.) ve Kartalkaya (Abık İçin Yakarış) ab-'iyileştirmek'. Bu lehçesel /-f/ < /-b/ değişimi Esatlı yazıtlarının bir bölümünü kapsıyor. Geriye kalan büyük bölüm Esatlı yazıtları /-b/ sergiliyor. Bu lehçesel ayırdın bu yazıtlar için tarihleme açısından bir öneminin olup olmadığı açık değil. Kuşkusuz, kazıbilim gibi başka alanların etkin destek ve katkısı gerekiyor. Unutulmuş bir geçmişin çok eski ve uzak anılarını taşıyan bu iki çok ilginç ve özel Batı Türk oyma yazıtını yeniden okuyucunun ilgisine getirmenin konu açısından yararlı ve uyarıcı olacağını düşünüyoruz.

Innovations in the digital economy can reduce the costs of engaging in trade and facilitate the physical delivery of traded goods, making trade potentially more inclusive. This chapter examines the opportunities and challenges brought about by digital connectivity and digital trade along the trading chain. It highlights that digital trade for development requires addressing, in addition to digital connectivity, new and old constraints to market integration and physical connectivity. It underscores the importance of efficient trade logistics services and emphasises the need to coordinate investments within regions and across hard and soft infrastructure. It then examines progress in cross-border connectivity and gives an update on the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement. Finally, while many opportunities to reduce trade costs arise from digitalisation, the paper highlights that the ability to adapt to the requirements and characteristics of digital trade flows, can influence the ability to realise the full potential for development.

Media production is a practice that draws on the creative skills of many different kinds of professionals including those who belong to the margins. This world of "invisible workers" includes stunt artists, body doubles, dancers, junior artists, makeup artists, lower-end technicians, and spot boys. The lives of these workers remain largely peripheral to the hype and spectacle generated by media industries. In deeply hierarchical societies like India, production practices tend to reinforce the existing social and class hierarchies, but on a much bigger scale. When industry practice is analyzed, these people often appear as statistical information sets. The article makes a strong case for detailed ethnographies of such working practices as a methodological intervention within media industries scholarship.

The idea about time within the outlines of philosophical anthropology erases the boundary between the cognitive intentions of the philosophical and nonphilosophically oriented knowledge as well as it tries to raise the question about the comprehension of time within consciousness in the context of a total cognitive theory. The paper displays how the most significant thinkers within the history of the philosophical reflection on time up until the beginning of the second decade of the twentieth century aim (even intuitively) critically to distinguish themselves from the non-philosophical visions of temporality. However, we believe this is an undertaking in vain, because we claim there is a cognitive discipline which can unify the entire knowledge about time and not keeping it only in the realms of specific fragmented regional ontologies, i.e. philosophical anthropology.

Pippin miró fuera amparado en la capa de Gandalf. No sabía si estaba despierto o si dormía, dentro aún de ese sueño vertiginoso que lo había arrebujado desde el comienzo de la larga cabalgata. El mundo oscuro se deslizaba veloz y el viento le canturreaba en los oídos. No veía nada más que estrellas fugitivas, y lejos a la derecha desfilaban las montañas del sur como sombras extendidas contra el cielo. Despierto sólo a medias, trató de echar cuentas sobre las jornadas y el tiempo del viaje, pero todo lo que le venía a la memoria era nebuloso e impreciso. Luego de una primera etapa a una velocidad terrible y sin un solo alto, había visto al alba un resplandor dorado y pálido, y luego llegaron a la ciudad silenciosa y a la gran casa desierta en la cresta de una colina. Y apenas habían tenido tiempo de refugiarse en ella cuando la sombra alada surcó otra vez el cielo, y todos se habían estremecido de horror. Pero Gandalf lo había tranquilizado con palabras dulces, y Pippin se había vuelto a dormir en un rincón, cansado pero inquieto, oyendo vagamente entre sueños el trajín y las conversaciones de los hombres y las voces de mando de Gandalf. Y luego a cabalgar otra vez, cabalgar, cabalgar en la noche. Era la segunda, no, la tercera noche desde que Pippin hurtara la Piedra y la escudriñara. Y con aquel recuerdo horrendo se despertó por completo y se estremeció, y el ruido del viento se pobló de voces amenazantes. Una luz se encendió en el cielo, una llamarada de fuego amarillo detrás de unas barreras sombrías. Pippin se acurrucó, asustado un momento, preguntándose a qué país horrible lo llevaba Gandalf. Se restregó los ojos, y vio entonces que era la luna, ya casi llena, que asomaba en el este por encima de las sombras. La noche era joven aún y el viaje en la oscuridad proseguiría durante horas y horas. Se sacudió y habló. -¿Dónde estamos, Gandalf? -preguntó. -En el reino de Góndor -respondió el mago-. Todavía no hemos dejado atrás las tierras de Ano ríen. Hubo un nuevo momento de silencio. Luego: -¿Qué es eso? -exclamó Pippin de improviso, aferrándose a la capa de Gandalf -. ¡Mira! ¡Fuego, fuego rojo! ¿Hay dragones en esta región? ¡Mira, allí hay otro! En respuesta, Gandalf acicateó al caballo con voz vibrante. -¡Corre, Sombragris! ¡Llevamos prisa! El tiempo apremia. ¡Mira! Gondor ha encendido las almenaras pidiendo ayuda. La guerra ha comenzado. Mira, hay fuego sobre las crestas del Amon Din y llamas en el Eilenach; y avanzan veloces hacia el oeste: hacia el Nardol, el Érelas, MinRimmon, Calenhad y el Halifirien en los confines de Rohan. Pero el corcel aminoró la marcha, y avanzando al paso, levantó la cabeza y relinchó. Y desde la oscuridad le respondió el relincho de otros caballos, seguido por un sordo rumor de cascos; y de pronto tres jinetes surgieron como espectros alados a la luz de la luna y desaparecieron, rumbo al oeste. Sombragris corrió alejándose, y la noche lo envolvió como un viento rugiente. Otra vez vencido por la somnolencia, Pippin escuchaba sólo a medias lo que le contaba Gandalf acerca de las costumbres de Gondor, y de por qué el Señor de la Ciudad había puesto almenaras en las crestas de las colinas a ambos lados de las fronteras, y mantenía allí postas de caballería siempre prontas a llevar mensajes a Rohan en el Norte, o a Belfalas en el Sur.
