The air conditioning system performance is significantly affected by temperature rise which causes continuous increase in electricity consumption and pollution problems to environment. Evaporative cooling systems are characterized by their low energy consumption so that they represent successful potential alternatives to traditional vapor compression air conditioning systems. This study investigates the performance of multi-stages evaporative cooling systems experimentally and theoretically. The experimental set-up is mainly composed of two parts: indirect unit to decrease the air temperature and direct unit to moisturize the air. The system is installed and equipped with temperatures, humidity, and air velocity sensors. The experimental tests were run continuously to monitor the system performance at various weather conditions between to in June and July months. A mathematical model for the system components was developed and implemented in the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) p...

Evaporative cooling has been proved as an effective method of storage of fruits and vegetables of moderate respiration rates. Therefore, a modified evaporative cooler named two-stage evaporative cooler (TSEC) has been developed to improve the efficiency of evaporative cooling for ...
Evaporative cooling is eco-friendly and energy efficient technology. There are mainly two types of evaporative technology, in which direct and indirect evaporative cooling takes place. Where in direct evaporative cooling there is adiabatic humidification and for reduction in relative humidity by means of cooling of air in heat exchanger. In case of indirect evaporative cooling the water sprayed in the heat exchanger. Primary purpose is to cool the air from the atmosphere to secondary air in the desired heat exchanger channel. All this concepts are taken in concern for the easiness, zero pollution with the energy efficiency of the cooling technology. From domestic purpose up to large industrial applications this evaporative cooling technology has been regularly used on large scale. In this review paper we have tried to explain the present the experimental work and research on the direct and evaporative cooling technology on the basis of their design, modelling and application by the details of studies in the terms of various performance tests and optimisation taking concern of heat and optimisation taking concern of heat and mass transfer also.

Cooling performance of two-stage indirect/direct evaporative cooling system is experimentally investigated in the various simulated climatic conditions. For this purpose, a two-stage evaporative cooling experimental setup consisting of an indirect evaporative cooling stage (IEC) followed by a direct evaporative cooling stage (DEC) was designed, constructed and tested. Due to the wide variety of climatic conditions in Iran, two air simulators were provided to simulate outdoor design condition of different cities in primary and secondary air streams. Results show that under various outdoor conditions, the effectiveness of IEC stage varies over a range of 55-61% and the effectiveness of IEC/DEC unit varies over a range of 108-111%. Aspects of achieving comfort conditions and power saving have been investigated with related excess water consumption. Considering the evaporative comfort zone, this system can provide comfort condition in a vast region in Iran where direct evaporative alone is not able to provide summer comfort condition. More than 60% power saving could be obtained by this system in comparison with mechanical vapor compression systems with just 55% increase in water consumption with respect to direct evaporative cooling systems. This system can fill the gap between direct evaporative cooling systems and mechanical vapor compression systems as an energy efficient and environmentally clean alternate.

The aim of this essay is to flesh out the body subject in ways anchored in Husserlian phenomenology. In accordance with this aim, it begins with clarifications essential to veridical phenomenological accounts of experience. The specific Husserlian insights that follow these clarifications are grounded in experienced realities of animate nature, a nature Husserl consistently describes in terms of an animate organism, a subject body. The ensuing two sections show how and why various descriptions and claims of contemporary phenomenologists, descriptions and claims commonly anchored in Merleau-Ponty's writings on the body, fail to elucidate this body subject, and how and why, in bypassing Husserlian insights, the descriptions and claims are phenomenologically wayward.
Thesis Design and Data Collection: This study mainly focused on the present status of solid waste management practice in Uttara Sector 10. Data collection included solid waste collection, transportation, and storage and disposal system. These studies identify the lacking of waste management and the authority future management plan and we known about Both qualitative and quantities data were collected when household waste collection and direct field observation, focus group discussion , secondary information were also collected for proper documentation, like research articles, environment books by pv, periodicals. Both primary and secondary sources were used to collect data as fulfillment of the study.
