Most programs to foster sustainable behavior continue to be based upon models of behavior change that psychological research has found to be limited. Although psychology has much to contribute to the design of effective programs to foster sustainable behavior, little attention has been paid to ensuring that psychological knowledge is accessible to those who design environmental programs. This article presents a process, community-based social marketing, that attempts to make psychological knowledge relevant and accessible to these individuals. Further, it provides two case studies in which program planners have utilized this approach to deliver their initiatives. Finally, it reflects on the obstacles that exist to incorporating psychological expertise into programs to promote sustainable behavior.

What is the meaning of the sustainabledevelopment of a local community? Does marketing contribute to and support the sustainabledevelopment of the local communities? The concept of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) has been widely used in many tourism destinations worldwide, and one was found in Patengan Village located in Bandung Regency. CBT is proven as an effective approach to create sustainable tourism. The CBT applied in Patengan Village is organized by village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) by managing several local businesses. However, many local businesses failed to compete with private-owned businesses who dominate the tourism industry in Patengan Village. Therefore, this research aims to develop a marketing framework for sustainable community-based nature tourism in Patengan Village, with the hope that in the future, these local businesses will complete the diversity of tourists attraction and produce economic benefits for the local community. Using an applied approach, this study offers a unique and realistic perspective to a conceptually drawn framework. The results enhance the marketing practice, and also offer suggestions on how local community involvement could include tourism activities in nature tourism and become part of a sustainable nature tourism paradigm.

Social marketing has long been used in the field of public health, but its application in the environmental world is only a decade old. Although McKenzie-Mohr and Smith's (1999) guide to" community-based social marketing"(CBSM) has gained increasing support, there have been few attempts to delineate when CBSM can (and should) be used.

The purpose of this study is to analyses the typology and factors determining the formation of customer communities, to know the patterns and forms of costumer communities, and to examine product penetration to customer communities in East Java province. This study uses a mixed method research with an exploratory approach. A qualitative approach is used to find answers to the objectives of the study. Typology of communities based on factors forming the communities can be due to similarities in brand or product consumed. Product penetration in each community can be done without any intervention or direct relationship with the company. The relationship between companies and communities can be divided into three forms. First, companies do not undertake any relationship with communities. Second, companies provide sponsorship and assistance for community activities incidentally. Third, companies build continuous collaboration with communities to organize joint activities. Quantitative testing of the 16 (sixteen) hypotheses shows that only 6 (six) hypotheses are supported by this study model. These results are expected to represent the contribution of Community Based Marketing in improving the Customer Lifetime Value and its implications for the economy of East Java Province.
Graphic Design and its Technicalities - Literature Review, 2024
Graphic Design can be defined in several ways depending on the sector which you are looking at. Most contemporarily, it can be referred to as the art of communication, where the goal could be to either persuade, influence, inform, educate, or simply give the audience a visual experience [2]. Graphic designers can work together with a variety of other professions, including illustrators, photographers, coders, editors, writers and others that have the need to digitally represent their work. [3] As a meticulous topic with many nuances and several categories stretching far beyond what most people may first consider, graphic design has one core idea: analyzing several different elements within an image and being able to identify each one thoroughly. In order to be able to effectively ensure one is correctly going through the analyzation process, there is an extensive list of terms that one must become familiar with. For this portion, terms specifically associated with certain programs will not be included.
The Babylonian Talmud contains hundreds of narratives depicting cases adjudicated by a sage ("rabbi"). The narratives provide almost the only evidence for local judging in the Sasanian Empire. The network constructed from these narratives is marked by low connectivity and negative degree assortativity. This implies (against some expectations) that we should construe this social group not as a "small world" of highly interconnected sages, but as made up of loosely connected, largely autonomous ones. In light of fundamental historiographical uncertainties, we cannot dismiss the possibility that network is to some degree fictive. Even granting fundamental historicity, there are likely areas of distortion. To address these, the paper reviews the data for possible underrepresentation of connections and compares the case data with other available on connections among rabbis extracted from the classical rabbinic corpus. Nevertheless, the impression that as a group, rabbis were loosely connected does fit with other scholarship on interactions between rabbis and deserves further research.
