Talking in the Middle: Why Writers Need Writing Tutors

Οι έρευνες που μελετούν τις συναισθηματικές δεξιότητες στην εργασία των εκπαιδευτικών είναι περιορισμένες (Brackett, et al., 2008), παρόλο που φαίνεται ότι αυτές έχουν σημαντική επίδραση στο συναίσθημα και στα κίνητρά τους. Στόχος των δύο ερευνών ήταν να διερευνηθούν οι συσχετίσεις της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης των εκπαιδευτικών με το συναίσθημα και την κινητοποίηση στην εργασία τους. Και στις δύο έρευνες οι συμμετέχοντες εκπαιδευτικοί συμπλήρωσαν την κλίμακα συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης Wong Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS· Wong & Law, 2002). Στην πρώτη έρευνα, οι 199 συμμετέχοντες εκπαιδευτικοί συμπλήρωσαν επιπλέον τις κλίμακες: Overall Job Satisfaction (Brayfield & Rothe, 1951), Maslach Burnout Inventory (Maslach & Jackson, 1986), State Anxiety Inventory (Spielberger, 1980) και Job Affect Scale (JAS·Brief, Burke, George, Robinson, & Webster, 1988). Στη δεύτερη έρευνα, οι 98 συμμετέχοντες εκπαιδευτικοί συμπλήρωσαν επιπλέον τις κλίμακες: Ohio State teacher efficacy scale (OSTES·TschannenMoran & Woolfolk Hoy, 2001) και Teachers’ Achievement Goals in Work Questionnaire (Papaioannou, 2001). Τα αποτελέσματα από τις δύο έρευνες έδειξαν, ότι οι εκπαιδευτικοί με υψηλότερα επίπεδα συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης ήταν περισσότερο προσανατολισμένοι στο έργο, δήλωναν υψηλότερα ποσοστά αυτοαποτελεσματικότητας, βίωναν μεγαλύτερη επαγγελματική ικανοποίηση, περισσότερο θετικό συναίσθημα, λιγότερη επαγγελματική εξουθένωση και λιγότερο αρνητικό συναίσθημα και άγχος στην εργασία τους. Με την παρουσίαση των δύο ερευνών επιχειρείται να διαμορφωθεί μια ολοκληρωμένη εικόνα για το ρόλο της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης των εκπαιδευτικών στην εργασία τους.

In this paper, the future of Indigenous autonomy and Indigenous community-based research is illustrated by analyzing re-Westernization, de-Westernization, and decoloniality in relation to the regeneration of the Indigenous glocal (global/local) concept of sumaq kawsay (" living well " in Quechua). The regeneration of sumaq kawsay as a new geopolitical and cultural polycentric and multipolar world is examined from an Indigenous studies decolonial perspective and an Indigenous Andean campesino (peasant) community-based perspective. Sumaq kawsay has encouraged an unexpected pan-Latin American perspective that supports decoloniality and its epistemic pluri-versity as an alternative scenario to " progress " and the business approach of development aid embedded within re-/de-Westernization.

A new orchid species from section Macrocaulia (BLUME) AVER., Bulbophyllum amorosum, is described and illustrated. It is known only from the mossy forests of the Mount Kalatungan Mountain Range in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. [email protected] 1 RESUMEN En este artículo se propone identificar de manera analítica, histórica y de un modo consciente la manifestación de la arquitectura y el arte para el siglo XXI y su aporte en la sociedad humana y en sus modos de manifestación, que se aparte de los postulados racionales que derivaron en la ciudad y la sociedad modernas del siglo XX, cuya inspiración bordea nuestros días con su aire técnico y tecnológico de visos individualistas que lo único que han hecho es convertir al ser humano en un ente de producción, consumo, estetización y que han llevado de cierta manera al conflicto humano por falta de empatía derivada de la pérdida de convivencia social causante muy posiblemente de la desintegración familiar y la guerra entre hermanos. Este modo consciente aporta a la sociedad un camino de acercamiento entre los seres humanos no romántico, ni estoico, ni material derivado en la forma y la belleza, sino en un reconocimiento de la propia condición interior manifestada en la exaltación de la plena consciencia de sí delatada a través del espacio arquitectónico. Si lo racional aportó en la arquitectura en lo que tiene que ver con la separación de las funciones tanto materiales como sociales en el siglo XX, la consciencia aportará cooperación, libre iniciativa, creatividad y empatía en la sociedad del siglo XXI.
