Our project entitled Automation for Management System is given by our college to develop. It is total end to end solution for all engineering colleges for maintaining the records of students & staff in their institute. In effect, we maintain an updated database of all details like all branches, all subjects, all students information, subject wise attendance conducted examination such as internal, practical etc. Also it will maintain all the database of staff and their work load. Its purpose is to automate and centralise whole system of department. We are attempting to improve our existing system that runs on pen and paper. It is basically we design this for reduction of workload of all our staff and head of the department who act as a central user or administrator of this project. We try to offer a range of facilities in a software that will maintain the all student records and staff details in a much more efficient way with much less hassle.

The main objective behind 'School Automation system' is creating a central system while traditional approach is to do a manual work in paper. So, for that it's very difficult to manage all the record and also difficult to analyze all the record in any departments. A manual work is to lengthy and its very time consuming for the entire department. So, for that needs of central system are arising which gives the effective and efficient result within less time. All departments can access the data with the system and also, they can perform a desired task. With that all the data can be easily manipulated and can be easily retrieved whenever anybody wants. With this system in place, people in different departments can view the same information about Student Information, making sure that every single interaction with student is based on accurate information. The manual processes can be automated to free up people's time and make internal processes more efficient. Using this system we can manage the student record in a master file. All the information regarding student can be seen and updated by admin if necessary, apart from that faculty can keep record of student and they can manage information like student profile, exam and other information.

We propose, an automated model for a Student Management System for Terna Engineering College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It's going to be an automated web application that converts the traditional pen and paperwork into a computerized online system. This will be obtained by carefully studying each user, its role, and it's level of hierarchy in the institute. Each user will fall on a different level of the hierarchy pyramid and will be given its own set of roles and permission so that there is no mix and match of user's responsibilities. By making use of the online platform and our computerized system, the level of efficiency of the institute will increase tenfold and bring the level of quality of administration into that of the level of education.
This paper is aimed at developing College Automation System which will manage the working of college management activity using single platform. This system has easy interface and powerful data management. We have used bootstrap which increases the responsiveness of the system. The main objective of this system is to reduce the paperwork and manual processing.

The main purpose of this Student Information Management System (SIMS),is a management information system for education establishments to manage student data. In the current system all the activities are done manually. It is very time consuming and costly. Our Student Management system deals with the various activities related to the students. For every colleges of their important task for people administration department is to manage student data information of the details in a the procedure oriented system manner with oflatest inform updates for every year for which need to be available for easy access. In order to provide this service we designed simple follow of the Students Information role Management System enter project which has various of modules which is helpful for the student administration to the of efficiently faculty manages them student’s details. This project on “IIMSR Student Management System” is useful for easy user interface. The system utilizes the powerful database management, data retrieval and data manipulation. This project provides more ease for managing the data than manually maintaining in the documents. The project is useful for saving valuable time and reduces the huge paper work. It will help educational Institutions like schools and colleges will keep track of their student records like personal details,contact details,marks details, etc. The Internet is rapidly becoming a part of the everyday lives of a majority of people in the world. People perform various activities on the Internet and one of them is storing their data in data-base where they are interested in. In these data base’s they can post the queries and they can retrieve the required data. Obviously there is a need of Student Information System software for management of student’s data. There are many departments of administration for the maintenance of college information and student databases in any institution. All these departments provide various records regarding students. Most of these track records need to maintain information about the students. This information could be the general details like student name, address, performance, attendance etc or specific information related to departments like collection of data. All the modules in college administration are interdependent. They are maintained manually. So they need to be automated and centralized as, Information from one module will be needed by other modules. For example when a student needs his course completion certificate it needs to check many details about the student like his name, registration number, year of study, exams he attended and many other details. So it needs to contact all the modules that are office, department and examination and result of students.
This project work automates school management system. In the system two applications are developed, Windows based (thick client) and Web based (thin client).

Managing student-related information in educational institutes becomes more cumbersome each year. As all systems today are being computerized, there is a need for an automated system to manage such information effectively. This paper proposes the development of a Student Management and Information System (SMIS) that computerizes the management of student activities and data. The system is user-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective, handling student academic and non-academic details, hostel management, leave management, and more. SMIS provides a simple graphical interface for maintaining student details.
This research is focused on creating an automated students result management system using oracle's database, forms and reports. This is a computerized examinations results management system for tertiary student's examination records. The manual method of students' academic result processing was found to be tedious, especially when carried out for a large number of students, this makes the entire process time-consuming and error prone. The system designed is meant to register students as soon as they have paid their departmental registration and only then will they be able to view their results. The system presents a single platform that will be used to manage the processing of all examination records within the institution. The data used for testing was obtained from the Department of Physics, Nasarawa State University and an empirical evaluation of the system shows that the system expedites the processing of students' examination results and the reporting of it. 1.0 Background. Eludire (2011) noted that the data generated by organizations are usually created in files for use by different departments/units within the organization. If the data contained in these files are not carefully delineated it is very likely that the same data will appear on several of these files. That is these files would contain redundant data for example the University registry file and college or department file would contain the name and address of a student. This would mean that a simple change of address has to be processed in two and probably three or four places, depending on the number of other files on which these data appears. This results in data redundancy. Vecchioli (1999) noted that organizing and managing student records into a cohesive and efficient system might seem like an impossible task. This study was carried out to verify the manual process involved in generating students examination result and to seek a way of automating the system for effective operations. It is pointed out in the research work Student Examination Result Processing System (2012) that the effort expended in the process of registration of students and computation of their examination results is enormous. Hence, the need to evolve a computerized process that will effectively and efficiently capture all the important data associated with the registration and examination result processing within the University. Barrett (1999) notes that in an effort to efficiently document and maintain accountability data, schools are relying more on technology in the form of Student Management Information Systems (SMIS). This system is designed to efficiently handle processes like inputting scores, storing results, automatically calculating grade points, and interpreting the student's overall result. The usual manual process has now reached a level where it is difficult for the available man power to cope with the magnitude of examination work, in the given time. The imbalance between man power availability and the magnitude of work to be done in processing examination results, leads to the delay in the declaration of examination results. An effective measure, which can improve the efficiency of the examination result processing is therefore the introduction of computerization, especially with the use of examinations result processing software. Computerized relational database systems (RDBMS) like Oracle database, Microsoft SQL server, MySQL etc. were developed with goal of reducing data redundancy. Brian (2009) stated that databases are collections of interrelated data of such a nature that the collections can be represented as a number of files but not a single file. Garcia-Molina et al. (2008) also stated that depending on the Database Management System (DBMS) used, these files may be integrated permanently into a single connected structure or integrated temporarily for each interrogation, known as a query. Nearly all departments within an organization require data to be processed into information in a timely manner. Timely information processing and dissemination leads to efficiency and customer satisfaction. Schools are organizations as well and
