Blind multiuser detection algorithms are used to eliminate the Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and the Near-Far effect in mobile communication systems. Four kinds of blind multiuser detection algorithms applied to code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communication system are studied in this paper. Those algorithms are the Least Mean Squares (LMS), Recursive Least Squares (RLS), Kalman filter and subspace-based Kalman filter algorithms. The resultant signal to interference ratio (SIR) at the output of the receivers controlled by the four kinds of multiuser detection algorithm has been discussed in this paper. Simulation results show that the subspace based Kalman filter algorithm outperforms all other three algorithms. Subspace-based Kalman filter algorithm has faster convergence speed, more practical and the capability of CDMA system can be increased.

Developing waterfront historic districts especially that lying in Central Business District (CBD), helps in integrating communities with their water elements and reflects the ability of CBD to adapt economic and social environments. The aim of the research is to set a new approach to be applied to achieve sustainable waterfront development. By emphasize the quality of life means in El-Manchya Square to increase economic return in terms of tourism, and public and private investments. These through guidance of similar case; which is Aristotelous plaza; one of Greece's best known locations. After studying Aristotelous plaza we can conclude certain approaches to be applied in El Manchya Square. Applying these approaches to El Manchay Square could be an attempt to enhance this focal node on metropolitan Alexandrians waterfront through the place making criteria, analyzing that waterfront in Alexandria, Egypt. Finally the research will conclude certain recommendations to develop this type of waterfront historic district based on examples' analysis of Aristotelous plaza Thessaloniki-Greece development.

Managing radio resources in Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks is considered as one of the essential design factors for enhancing the overall system performance. Common approaches are introduced to either achieve fairness between network users or attain maximum spectral efficiency. However, these approaches do not consider optimizing energy consumption. Therefore, in this paper, a novel resource allocation algorithm based on the Dragonfly metaheuristic technique is proposed to allocate bandwidth to users. The new algorithm is called Dragonfly-based Joint Delay/Energy (DJDE) and considers the Quality of Services (QoS) requirements of the users while achieving a high level of energy efficiency. The proposed solution utilizes the Dragonfly algorithm to optimize the integration process of different scheduling policies. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, an extensive set of experiments are conducted to compare the proposed solution to the state-of-the-art techniques. Also, to assess the energy efficiency of the proposed method, another set of experiments are simulated to compare it with various algorithms that optimize energy consumption. The obtained results prove that the DJDE algorithm can satisfy the QoS requirements of the users while improving the overall system performance.

This paper presents a study of the effect of imperfect power control on the performance of a Partial Parallel Interference Cancellation (PPIC) multiuser receiver. We show that the PPIC receiver can absorb the effect of imperfect power control to a great extent compared with other types of receivers. Additionally, the effect of imperfect power control on the optimum weights of the PPIC receiver is considered. It is found that imperfect power control causes the receiver to become more susceptible to performance degradation as a result of deviation from optimal weights.
With the progress of fire monitoring and Coping technique, image recognition based on deep learning has shown great potential in the field of fire detection. Aiming at the accuracy and efficiency problems existing in the existing object detection algorithms, this study proposed an improved YOLOv8 algorithm to improve the real-time recognition capability in the fire scene. Through experimental verification on standard fire data sets, this study evaluated the detection performance of the improved YOLOV8 algorithm fused with Deformable Conv. The experimental results show that the improved YOLOv8 has improved the fire identification accuracy compared with the traditional version, and has certain potential for practical application in fire monitoring system.

Convinced that anthropology constitutes the nucleus of K. Wojtyla's thought, the author attempts to discover what kind of anthropology is at the basis of Wojtyla's philosophical writings and the implications of that anthropology. The analysis of the basic structures of Wojtyla's anthropology (the experience of that which occurs and that of action, the structure of the person-act, the transcendence of the person in truth, gift, etc.) leads the author to hold that Wojtyla's philosophy can be considered a coherent metaphysics of the person since the person who acts is not just the method (the conscience of the action), but also the object of study and, above all, the end, that is, to know and to make known to the person his special dignity. Regarding the contribution of Wojytla's anthropology, the author identifies two central themes: the relationship between person and act, and relationality. Regarding the former, Wojtyla effects a synthesis of metaphysics of being and phenomenology: the person is not relative to his acts, because he is a suppositum; nonetheless, the person is in close relationship to his acts. If it were not for these acts the person could not even know himself as subject and could not perfect himself as a person. Regarding the latter, Wojtyla sustains that the person is not person in the singular but in the plural, since each person is in relation with all the others, and this is shown from the phenomena of participation, solidarity, and, above all, donation. The author concludes by sustaining that the multiplicity and the original relationality of the person is one of the aspects of Wojtyla's anthropology that would be worthy of further study.

The contribution examines Giovanni Pascoli's careful analysis of Catullus' c. 95 in the anthology Lyra. Going beyond the horizon of the young students for whom the work is intended, the commentary is an all-round philological operation, aiming as much at a global exegesis as at focusing on minute details inherent in the meaning and textual reconstruction in the strict sense, non infrequently making learned and original choices.
