Finished Card

I know there is a reason why i like to make a card, let it rest on the table and then look at it with a fresh pair of eyes the next day!

i did this, and this morning i added adhesive gem stones to this card. I hope you like the new version. I certainly think it adds to it!

Thank you Clare

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Clare for hosting so many wonderful Sketch challenges. I find her layouts so inspirational and i will be lost without them. however i will look forward to those layouts in the docraft magazine! Thank you Clare for taking your own time to be so generous with your knowledge and talent.

I have created this card using the Love Jessie Edwards Clear Boutique Stamp Set, Roy G Bliv Red Card, Gold Mirror Card, Gold border line stickers, Gold embossing powder, color box pigment cats eyes - classic. I hope you like the card.
I used one of the small swirly stamp, i inked and embossed in gold onto the red card and added it to the side of the card.

I was so eager to share this card, that i couldnt wait til tomorrow to take a better picture.

Clare's Sketch Challenge 2nd Card

I have created this card using Clare's Sketch Challenge. She was on QVC yesterday and she was fab. Those kits were fab value for money! But as an early bird who bought lot of the stuff when they first come out, i didnt buy the kits. As i have a few of the individual elements. Hopefully Clare will be able to demonstrate her own range next time. and the weather is gorgeous atm, I am melting as i am speaking.
.
Oh yes, back to this card. I matted and layered the paper onto Green super assortment card stock, used the off cut to create a ribbon effect. Added Adhesive pearl gems. Edged the papers and card with whispers brush markers. Doodle around the green borders a little, to reflect the poked holes on the green centre card.
.
Materials used:
x cut pokey tool
Papermania Spring burst papers
Green Super Assortment card stock
Adhesive gem stones
Clare's Stampin Chic party stamp set
Whisper brush markers

Happy Rakhi

There is a day in our culture, which usually falls in August time for brothers and sisters. I made some cards for this day. Papers used in these cards are DCWV - Taj Mahal, gem stones, Quick kutz - moxie alphabet, glitter and stickers. I tried to keep it simple. but make it appropriate at the same time.

An Old Card

I made this card a while ago, following the project on docrafts but using card stock from Black Magic, papermania flowers, and CCSR Paper and black card stock. Used white adhesive gem stones, coloured them in with black permanent markers. I hope you like it.
