Christmas Blog Hop for WAW

I made a set of cards for a sweet friend and placed them, along with envelopes, in a cellophane bag.  It needed more, so I created a sleeve to hold the bag.  The top of the bag runs through a circular opening cut with a small die.   I used this week's Word Art Wednesday scripture, John 3:16, as a simple tag.  The verse is done up with such a pretty font that it would be a lovely addition to any Christmas gift.

The final projects of the year are featured in a hop.  All the details are on the WAW blog. The prize for my blog and the order of the hop are shown below.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and lots of fun hopping!

Turkey Day for Word Art Wednesday

Lawn Fawn is sponsoring the current Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  Everyone has two weeks to enter in order to have a chance to win the generous prize Lawn Fawn is offering.  I've used the darling Turkey Day set along with Echo Park papers to create my card.  The cute little images are such fun to use because the size allows for lots of layers or for a CAS look that focuses right on the stamps.  The accompanying sentiments always bring a smile.  Wishing you the best as you play along to win some Lawn Fawn products for your projects.

Welcome Baby for Word Art Wednesday

The Welcome Baby stamps and dies by Stamp Simply are a favorite set.  In my work at a pregnancy resource center, I share lots of baby cards using this set.  It includes a onesie die wit the cutest stitched detailing.  For this card, I wanted to use all the little dies meant to adorn the onesie or the bib and decided they might be cute on a wreath.

The wonderful news surrounding the new challenge at Word Art Wednesday is that Stamp Simply is sponsoring and will provide a prize for a randomly selected participant.  Hope you will play along.

Blessings,

Christine

The Name of the Lord is to be Praised

Just love this scripture, and both the content and the portrait arrangement of words inspired a need to feature a rising sun.  The sun die is retired from Verve, and the little bird and leaves are from a sweet set by My Favorite things.

Hope you will stop by Word Art Wednesday to share your creations and to have an opportunity to win a fun prize selection from Unity Stamps.

Blessings,

Christine

Worthy of Double Honor

I am so grateful for my pastor's love and dedication to Jesus and the truth of the Bible.  This scripture is fitting to thank our dear shepherds for their leadership and love.  It's available at Word Art Wednesday as a download to use right away.

Altenew is sponsoring the current challenge, and I've used a beloved Altenew die....the Leaf Frame over a panel tinted with Tim Holtz watercolor pencils.

We'd love to have you join the fun at Word Art Wednesday.

Blessings,

Christine
