The first edition of the Caribbean Heritage Course in Curaçao is organized by the University of the Netherlands Antilles in cooperation with UNESCO and aims to improve knowledge and skills in Heritage Management. The course consists of the Course Modules I (Application of the World Heritage Convention) and V (Management of Historic Centres) of UNESCO's Caribbean Capacity Building Program (CCBP) for heritage professionals. The course will be held in Willemstad, the World Heritage capital of Curaçao from November 2 to 13 2009.
The Caribbean Heritage Course in Curacao is for: Heritage professionals in the entire Caribbean region; and others in the Caribbean region, whose action can have impact on the planning, management, conservation and maintenance of Caribbean immovable heritage such as university students, researchers and decision makers.
