A collection of essays in his honour, edited by Karin Schwerdtner and Geneviève de Viveiros, was published as a special issue of the journal NSRC, no 13, "Objets de l'écrivain: images, usages, représentations depuis le XIXe siècle à nos jours" (2020). He has published over 100 scholarly articles, book chapters, and review articles and is the author/editor of ten books.
