One MORE day of rain we must weather

Now it SEEMS we’re all in this together

Still my sanity strains

Each day that it rains

Too much MORE, and I’ll soon slip my tether!

Really?!?  ANOTHER wet day!?

All soggy and cloudy and gray?

I have had it!  I’m done!

Now, it’s time for some sun.

 Slow Snail Kind of Day

Feeling exhausted and stale

and unlikely (today) to prevail

I fear something’s wrong

for I’ve slaved far too long

but I’ve barely kept pace with a snail

A friend of mine’s in a fine funk,

conjugating verbs – stink, stank and stunk.

She’s feeling resentful

about her most scent-ful

(and unwelcome) guest – Mr. Skunk!
