Getting Sketchy

First up, yesterday was the first Monday of the month and that means Verve is sponsoring Mojo Monday this week. Play along with the Mojo 374 Sketch and link it up to the entry form on the Mojo Monday blog for a chance to win a set of your choice from Verve.  We add a winner for every 50 entries, so feel free to play along as often as you like!  Contest deadline is 8PM mountain on Sunday, December 7.

Here's my take on this week's challenge, using the new Pinecone Christmas set and Poinsettia Pinecones Die Set, along with the Die Sidekicks set and Sweet Scallop Tag.

Verve Release Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! This weekend I thought we'd have a little fun and I'd post a special sketch challenge as we countdown to our release on Sunday night. I'll be picking three random winners from cards using today's sketch to receive their choice of any one of our new release sets for free. Entries will close at 6:00PM Eastern on Sunday, March 8, so tell your family you NEED to stamp today! :)

To play along, just make a card with the provided sketch and upload to an online blog or gallery. Then leave a link in the Mr. Linky form below to the place where we can see your creation! Links will close at 6:00PM Eastern on March 8 and winners will be announced that night during our release party on SCS. Verve Stamps are not required, just go get inky! ;)

The release party starts at 8PM Eastern tomorrow (Sunday) night and we'll be chatting up a storm and giving you the first looks at all the new sets. Come join the fun!

If you need a little inspiration to get your wheels a turnin', here's my sample using the sketch. Remember, you can always change the shapes up to fit your mood. In this case I wanted to use my new EK Success fleur de lis punches and thought a circle went better with the elegant feel of the card. The Psalm 51:10 stamp is one of the new Plain Jane stamps that will release tomorrow night!

Verve Holiday Release Sketch Blitz

Hi Everyone! Are you ready for another Verve Release?

Today is day 1 of our 5 day Holiday Release Sketch Blitz. We've got 5 days of sketches and lots of chances to win our fabulous new holiday sets. Be sure to check out all the challenge details on our Verve SCS Forum. Today's sketch is one I designed specifically with mass production of holiday cards in mind. I kept the patterned paper square at 4" so I could make 9 cards out of one sheet of 12x12 paper. I really like how flexible and easy this sketch is. I posted a card using this sketch with a peek of the Poinsettia Christmas set on Poetic Artistry today. And here I'm showing a little peek of a set called Tall Oaks, which the Divas will be previewing for you tomorrow.

Speaking of previews, we have lots going on this week leading up to our Holiday Release Party on Sunday night. Here's an overview of what's going on this week...
