It can be divided into colour analysis, dimension verification, and surface defect detection, which is the main purpose of our work. Defects detection is still based on the judgment of human operators while most of the other manufacturing activities are automated so, our work is a quality control enhancement by integrating a visual control stage using image processing and morphological operation techniques before the packing operation to improve the homogeneity of batches received by final users. An automated defect detection and classification technique that can ensured the better quality of tiles in manufacturing process as well as production rate.

Although many methods of semi automated image classification of remotely sensed data have been established for improving the accuracy of land use/cover classification during the past forty years, most of them were employed in single-resolution image classification. Due to the more heterogeneous spectral-radiometric characteristics within land use/cover units portrayed in high resolution images, many applications of traditional single resolution classification approaches have not led to satisfactory results. In this paper, we propose a fast adaptive content-based retrieval system of satellite images database using relevance feedback. Through our proposed system, we apply a super resolution technique for the Landsat-TM images to have a high resolution dataset. The human-computer interactive system is based on modified radial basis function for retrieval of satellite database images. To improve the accuracy of the system, we apply the backpropagation supervised artificial neural network classifier for both the low and high resolution datasets.

The modified radial basis functions neural network has important role in clustering the subimages of database according to the Euclidean distance between the query feature vector and the other subimages feature vectors. The advantage of using RF technique in such queries is demonstrated by analyzing the database retrieval results.

The indexing entries are computed after preprocessing the data by Haar wavelet decomposition. The scheme is based on a unified image feature detection approach based on Zernike moments. A set of low
