At the time of writing this study, the COVID-19 virus continues to spread through its multiple mu... more At the time of writing this study, the COVID-19 virus continues to spread through its multiple mutants, the latest of which is (Omicron). Therefore, it was necessary to use effective and unconventional treatments to reduce the spread of this virus and to deliver health care to its infected without the need to be exposed to the risk of infection. This research paper presents valuable solutions for communicating with COVID-19 patients through the use of information technology applications. This method contributes to reducing the consumption of medical resources, reducing contact with patients, and helping with social distancing, which contributes to reducing the spread of this virus. The process of using information technology means to provide medical advice and treatment to patients by telemedicine doctors has been clarified. More importantly, the results of this study presented the factors affecting the use of these applications in terms of social, technological, and organizational.

The proposed algorithm is dependent on the wireless network between cars. The system is part of a wireless control node located at the intersection, which determines the optimal values of the phases of traffic lights. The protocol used in this research provides traffic fluency when compared to adaptive systems based on the use of cameras. It has also been developed as an integrated system validation simulator. The simulation framework consists of a realistic vehicle navigation model and a wireless network simulator. The proposed system designed as a work system that can be analyzed for peak hours and we got acceptable results. Average delay, fuel consumption and pollution are significantly reduced.

The Information Technology (IT) in the Iraqi health sector is ignored, and the health paper-based... more The Information Technology (IT) in the Iraqi health sector is ignored, and the health paper-based (HPB) system cannot contain the whole information about the patient and cannot be shared with different locations at the same time and the medical errors kill many people yearly. For that, there is a need to be replaced by the electronic records that can include: medical history, investigations, medications, allergies, laboratory tests, nursing notes, and many other notes. The aim of this study is to assess the adoption and barriers to the adoption of the electronic health records (EHRs) system at Albatool Teaching Hospital. The study was descriptive and not statically, data collected from direct interviews with healthcare technology providers, professional nurses, and physicians. The study found successful utilization of the EHS in the outpatient's department of the hospital and underutilization in the emergency department, and other departments due to many barriers especially the not well-trained staff in the hospital and the workload from a high number of patients and problems in the system itself and its update. Training the staff and provide the hospital with all required information technology technical support was recommended.

Especially, health care because it is important to create a healthy generation. The systems currently used to collect vital data for patients require high effort and time as well as the possibility of errors in the provision of treatment to patients, all of these prevents access to patient data in a real-time. In this study, we presented a proposal for a system based on cloud computing technology. The medical staff needs only an internet-connected device with a browser to access patient data at any time and from anywhere. Therefore, it provides the possibility of telemedicine service. In addition, this proposed system reduces medical errors, eliminates the collection of manual data and finally, helps the doctor to make decisions quickly and accurately. Which is reflected in the provision of treatment of the patient in a real-time and with high efficiency which is the main objective of this proposed system.
There were a number of problems associated with adopted manual methods to manage student informat... more There were a number of problems associated with adopted manual methods to manage student information in the Department of Student Affairs in the College of Medicine – University of Diyala, these followed regulations caused delay in the delivery of services to students, inaccuracies in the completion of tasks and so on. A new system designed and implemented by using the tools of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (.Net Framework Environment) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 to solve most of the problems and obstacles resulting from the use of the old methods and techniques. The main work of the software design process included requirements analysis, database description and logical structure design of the data. Database System test results show that the database system meets the requirements of each module with a graphical user interface and simple procedures. Student data can be updated by the administrator of the system efficiently, accurately in a short time and in a flexible manner. Finally concluded that adopted this new database student information management system helps to accomplish the tasks at high speed and accuracy, also helps the management of the college in speed of decision-making, which helps raise the level of performance of the college in general.
