The tourism development sector in Indonesia is overgrowing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the sector most affected economically. The COVID1-9 pandemic has changed the "normal" conditions in all life sectors, including tourism sector activities. The uncertainty over the end of the COVID-19 pandemic requires us to adapt to the new conditions, the new prerequisites (social and physical distancing), and the new order (physical, social, and health) preparing the new normal order protocol. The recovery of tourism sector activities must be aware of the emergence of new clusters in tourist destinations. The purpose of the discussion in this paper is to produce a new normal order protocol after the COVID-19 pandemic for the development of sustainable community-based rural tourism destinations. The efforts that prepare are the new normal order after COVID-19, by taking into account: (1) Mitigation of tourism "disasters" due to COVID-19; prevent new clusters in tourist villages/ villages (2) Compilation of health protocols for tourist destinations during the COVID-19 pandemic era; (3) Strengthening information on destination environmental health; (4) Strengthening the Destination Management Organization (DMO) especially for the management of the COVID-19 tourism village protocol; and (5) Increasing stakeholder participation towards a new normal order.

Keindahan fisik kota merupakan kondisi, karakter, citra yang terbentuk dari setting lingkungan binaan dan lingkungan alamiahnya. Upaya membuat City Branding dengan mengangkat tema Beautiful Malang menjadi relevan apabila diikuti dengan upaya-upaya pemerintah kota untuk menjaga "keindahan lingkungan buatan dan alamiahnya" dalam kebijakan pengembangan kota Malang. Upaya pemerintah Kota Malang menggunakan City Branding "Malang Beautiful" dilakukan untuk memperkuat image kota Malang sebagai kota untuk tujuan wisata lingkungan binaan. Pembahasan tentang persepsi keindahan suatu kota tidak terlepas dari permasalahan image dari pengguna kota.Dengan demikian pembahasan beautiful Malang sebagai branding, maka tidak akan terlepas dari pemahaman Image suatu kota/ kawasan. Pemahaman image sebuah kota mencakup 5 elemen, yakni Path, Edge, District, Nodes, dan Landmark. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengkaji City Branding Beautiful Malang ditinjau dari teori Citra kota yang dikemukakan oleh Kevin Lynch dalam bukunya " Image of The City".

Ngadas Village has been designated as Tourism Village. Such determination may affect the morphology of Ngadas Village. Although tourism activities are regarded as things that can cause changes in the morphology of the region, but do not rule out the possibility of other factors. Thus, it is very important to know the factors other causes. Thus, massive morphological changes can be controlled by knowing the causal factors. Consequently, the sustainability of Ngadas as a traditional tourism village can be maintained. Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method through synchronic and diachronic approach. In addition, this research also used spatial analysis to know morphology's development of Ngadas Village through Google Earth image in 2004, 2012, and 2017. The result of research indicates that factors causing morphological change of Ngadas Village are cultural factor, natural factor, demographic favtor, tourism development factor, building and land allotment, and government policy. Abstrak Desa Ngadas telah ditetapkan sebagai Desa Wisata. Penetapan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi morfologi Desa Ngadas. Meskipun kegiatan pariwisata dianggap sebagai hal yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan morfologi kawasan, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan adanya faktor lain. Sehingga, sangat penting untuk mengetahui faktorfaktor penyebab lain. Sehingga, perubahan morfologi yang massif dapat dikendalikan dengan mengetahui faktor penyebabnya. Dampaknya, keberlangsungan Ngadas sebagai Desa Wisata Adat dapat terjaga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan sinkronik dan diakronik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan analisis spasial untuk mengetahui perkembangan morfologi Desa Ngadas melalui citra Google Earth tahun 2004, 2012, dan 2017.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab perubahan morfologi Desa Ngadas adalah faktor budaya, alam, demografi, faktor berkembangnya pariwisata, perubahan tata masa bangunan dan peruntukan lahan, serta kebijakan pemerintah.

The "Park Revitalization" program initiated by the Malang City Government with the private sector is being implemented and the implementation of this program raises questions, namely the extent to which this physical intervention should be carried out, so that integration and sustainability have a positive impact, without reducing the existing green open space. This study uses a quantitative methodology in the form of a Green Open Revitalization program review conducted in Malang City by assessing the percentage reduction in area. Operational definitions of variables used in this research design are in the form of transfer functions or building additions and the use of functional areas / materials or cover material. Analysis of the condition of objects by referring to Area Revitalization. Objects of observation are analyzed using thematic maps and statistical analysis. The results of the study show that there is a close correlation between the conversion of functions or the addition of buildings and the use of functional areas / material or cover material to the percentage of RTH. The selection of the right material with the theme and characteristics of green open space with sustainable technology is an integrated entity with continuous improvement in the quality and quantity of the environment. Abstrak Program "Revitalisasi Taman" yang digagas Pemerintah Kota Malang dengan pihak swasta sedang dilaksanakan dan implementasi program ini menimbulkan pertanyaan, yaitu sejauh mana intervensi fisik ini seyogyanya dilakukan, sehingga keterpaduan dan keberlanjutan berdampak positif, tanpa mengurangi luasan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metodologi kuantitatif berupa review program Revitalisasi RTH yang dilaksanakan di Kota Malang dengan mengkaji seberapa besar persentase pengurangan luasannya. Definisi operasional variabel yang dipakai dalam rancangan penelitian ini berupa Alih fungsi atau penambahan bangunan dan Penggunaan area fungsional/bahan atau material penutup (cover). Analisis kondisi obyek dengan berpedoman Revitalisasi Kawasan. Obyek amatan dianalisis menggunakan petapeta tematik dan analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi erat antara alih fungsi atau penambahan bangunan dan penggunaan area fungsional/ bahan atau material penutup (cover) terhadap persentase RTH-nya. Pemilihan material yang tepat dengan tema dan ciri RTH dengan teknologi yang berkesinambungan menjadi satu kesatuan yang terintegrasi dengan perbaikan kualitas dan kuantitas lingkungan secara lestari.

Provision of green open spaces by 30% of urban areas as outlined in Law 26 of 2007 on Spatial Planning, is the responsibility of local governments. Malang City Government is currently in the process of realizing open space according to the provisions of the law. Due to funding constraints, local governments involve the private sector through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the provision of green open spaces. This study examines the potential and problems of private sector involvement in urban development processes, especially the provision of urban open spaces. Indonesia merupakan Negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia yang memiliki ribuan pulau dari Sabang sampai Merauke, dimana setiap pulaunya memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Salah satu pantai di kabupaten Malang adalah pantai Sendang Biru. Pantai Sendang Biru memiliki potensi sumber daya perikanan yang besar di jawa Timur. Daya tarik berupa tempat pelelangan ikan dan pulau Sempu yang berada di sebrang pantai yang ditetapkan sebagai cagar alam melalui Surat Keputusan Gubernur Jenderal Hindia Belanda pada tahun 1928. Permasalahan pada pulau Sempu adalah adanya wisata illegal sehingga membuat sebagian wilayahnya menjadi rusak dan sebagian kawasan di pulau Sempu akan diubah menjadi Taman Wisata Alam (TWA). Metode kajian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menidentifikasi kearifan lokal dan menganalisa sehingga mendapatkan strategi pengembangan kawasan wisata Pantai Sendang Biru. Ditemukan bahwa kearifan lokal dapat dijadikan dasar pengembangan wisata kuliner dan atraksi kehidupan nelayan pada Pantai Sendang biru. Dengan pengembangan kualitas wisata di Pantai Sendang Biru diharapkan dapat melestarikan Pulau Sempu.

Traditional houses in Indonesia have become silent witnesses of how life in the past was carried out and its influence on the order of life of the people at that time. Likewise with the traditional Javanese houses of the community of dusun Cemorosewu-Magetan, which have the characteristics and functionally have specific aims and objectives that influence the process of establishing the building. This study is expected to provide a benefit in the form of the development of knowledge related to traditional houses in general which can be applied in building architecture. The method used in this writing is descriptive method with non random sampling technique, which is purposive sampling (purposive sampling technique). From the discussion, it can be seen that the traditional house in dusun Cemorosewu only has two clusters, namely griya wingking with dhapur limasan and griya pawon with dhapur kampong where griya pawon is always on the left either the wingking house faces north or south. The supporting structure of the roof of the house is supported by 8 (eight) poles so that it is often referred to as omah soko wolu. Walls are made of split stone and zinc roofing and there are still cooking stoves that use fuel from firewood along with complementary components such as pogo and sigiran and roof openings in an effort to remove smoke. ABSTRAK Rumah-rumah tradisional di Indonesia telah menjadi saksi bisu tentang bagaimana kehidupan di masa lalu dijalankan dan pengaruhnya pada tatanan kehidupan masyarakat pada waktu itu. Demikian juga dengan rumah tradisional Jawa dari komunitas dusun Cemorosewu-Magetan, yang memiliki karakteristik dan secara fungsional memiliki tujuan tertentu yang mempengaruhi proses pendirian bangunan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat berupa pengembangan pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan rumahrumah tradisional pada umumnya yang dapat diterapkan dalam membangun arsitektur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik non random sampling, yaitu purposive sampling. Dari diskusi, dapat dilihat bahwa rumah adat di dusun Cemorosewu hanya memiliki dua kelompok, yaitu griya wingking dengan dapur limasan dan griya pawon dengan dapur kampong, di mana griya pawon selalu di sebelah kiri, rumah wingking menghadap ke utara atau selatan. Struktur pendukung atap rumah didukung oleh 8 (delapan) kutub, sehingga sering disebut sebagai omah soko wolu. Dinding terbuat dari batu split dan atap seng dan masih ada kompor masak yang menggunakan bahan bakar dari kayu bakar bersama dengan komponen pelengkap seperti pogo dan sigiran dan bukaan atap untuk menghilangkan asap.

Situs Sumberawan merupakan salah satu tempat wisata di kabupaten Malang. Situs ini terletak di Desa Toyomerto, Kecamatan Singosari. Stupa Sumberawan berada di kaki gunung Arjuno. Stupa Sumberawan dibangun pada akhir era Majapahit, yaitu sekitar abad ke-14 sampai 15. Di area stupa terdapat beberapa mata air. Mata air ini membentuk telaga mata air. Stupa Sumberawan dibangun untuk mentransformasi mata air menjadi tirta amerta. Tirta amerta adalah air suci sebagai saripati kehidupan. Masyarakat masih mempercayai mitos dan larangan di telaga mata air ini. Situs Sumberawan sangat menarik untuk diteliti dengan keberadaan telaga mata airnya. Stupa dan telaga mata air ini menjadi ruang berbagai aktivitas. Warga sekitar memanfaatkannya untuk kebutuhan air bersih, mencuci, memancing, dan mengairi sawah. Umat Budha melakukan ritual pradaksina di Stupa Sumberawan. Penganut kejawen melaksanakan ritual mandi suci pada malam jumat legi di telaga mata air. Wisatawan berkunjung dengan tujuan rekreasi. Peneliti ingin mengetahui makna ruang Situs Sumberawan bagi masing-masing pengguna. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbedaan pemaknaan dan penggunaan ruang di Situs Sumberawan. Perbedaan makna ruang ini dapat menjadi landasan dalam upaya pelestarian Situs Sumberawan.

A Green City Management Information System (MIS) has been designed to support a reliable and comprehensive database of Green Open Space (GOS) development policies in Malang City. This paper aims to acquire feedback on the development of a Green City MIS as a provider of spatial and non-spatial data in planning and design of green cities, for the monitoring and control of sustainable urban green open spaces. In this study, the location as a sample for monitoring and control of green open space with a Green City MIS was carried out in densely populated areas on the banks of the Brantas River in the city of Malang. This MIS can be effectively used to monitor urban dense residential areas such as Warna-Warni Kampong (Picturesque Village) and Biru Kampong (Blue Village) on the banks of the Brantas River. The results of this study were used to conduct a review of the development policies of the Brantas riverbank area, especially in determining urban green spaces, as a control model for the implementation of urban spatial planning.

Traditional houses in the village of Sumbersari are Javanese joglo houses that have been modified according to local culture. This traditional house is quite commonly found in Sumbersari Village, Udanawu District, Blitar, the distribution is quite evenly distributed in Blitar Regency. This traditional residence has the characteristics of the limasan building roof and has a symmetrical facade building, this residence belongs to a Javanese family with a higher status, so it has a uniqueness that is by the spatial layout and facade. Over time, only changes in spatial layout and facade are related to human needs, new technology, lifestyle, economic factors, inheritance, and cultural rights. With existence, traditional houses that are increasingly changing will eventually lose their identity. The purpose of this study is to analyze typologies by classifying traditional dwellings based on specific types and analyzing their morphology based on the level of change and the application of the changes. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a rationalistic discussion. The results of the studio are the data in the form of tables about the typology and morphology of traditional dwellings as the essence of the instructions for the form of traditional dwellings that can be contributed to the scientific architecture of the archipelago.

Limbungan (Bale Tani) merupakan rumah tradisional vernakular sasak yang ada di kabupaten lombok timur. Dengan berkembangnya era moderenisasi, budaya lokal semakin tergeser ekstesitensinya. Penelitian dapat dilakukan dengan dokumentasi bale tani, untuk mengangkat nilai – nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam pembangunan rumah tradisional yang ada di Kabupaten lombok timur, dan dapat dipelajari bagi arsitek, pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat khususnya didaerah Pulau Lombok (Sasak). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya pengetahuan tentang rumah tradisional yang secara bijaksasna didesain oleh nenek moyang. Kabupaten lombok timur merupakan kabupaten yang penuh dengan rumah tradisional serta adat dan budaya yang sangat kental. Sehingga kajian ini dapat memberikan masukan dan dapat tercipta bangunan yang memperhatikan konsep ekologis serta kearifan lokal suku sasak.

Proses roasting kopi secara manual dengan mengabaikan suhu dan waktu sangria dapat menimbulkan masalah yaitu pada tingkat kematangan dan aroma kopi tersebut. Permasalahan ini perlu diberikan solusi untuk proses sangria pada penentuan suhu dan waktu sangria. System kendali otomatis dalam penerapannya pada suhu dan waktu sangria dapat dilakukan dengan merancang system kendali otomatis pada suhu dan waktu sangria . Metode fuzzy logic dapat diterapkan pada system kendali tersebut dengan input suhu dan jumlah kopi yang akan disangrai serta output berupa waktu proses sangria. Dimana jumlah kopi dengan suhu yang telah ditentukan akan memberikan pengaruh pada  waktu proses sangrai, jumlah kopi 100 gram dengan suhu 110OC membutuhkan waktu sangrai + 50 menit.

Environmentally, sustainable development will increase durability to any changes in the environment. Planning and urban design as a form of physical intervention in urban development should anticipate phenomenon of global warming through design decisions. A balanced development between the physical environment of development and environmental conservation should be done to achieve a healthy urban environment for present and future generations. The balance between green space and developed space with an integrated system of environmental infrastructure will increase the carrying capacity of an urban environment. Green city planning and design is one solution to global warming phenomenon. Green city concept was conceived as an answer that emphasizes aspects of environmental sustainability considerations in solving the urban problems (Murota and Ito, 1996). Green city planning implications in urban planning and design approach is the realization of the overall ecological city (Eco-city). This paper aims to discuss the concept of city planning and design approach that is able to eliminate global warming. Purpose of the discussion in this article was to determine whether the product of city planning has to anticipate problems of global warming became a major issue of urban development. Budaya merupakan akar dari sebuah bangsa. Wujud budaya dapat berupa aktivitas dan mata pencaharian sehari-hari. Bertani adalah salah satu contoh aktivitas sekaligus mata pencaharian dari masyarakat agraris Indonesia. Poncokusumo, merupakan salah satu daerah di Indonesia yang sebagian besar masyarakatnya hidup dari pertanian, khususnya komoditas Apel. Sehingga, buah apel yang ada di Malang salah satunya dipasok dari Poncokusumo. Namun, penggunaan lahan dan mata pencaharian masyarakat berubah seiring dengan waktu. Apabila dibiarkan, Apel beserta budaya bertani yang telah ada dapat tergerus. Oleh karena itu perlu upaya yang dapat mempertahankan Apel Malang bersamaan dengan budaya bertani masyarakat Poncokusumo. Hal ini tentu tidak dapat dilakukan tanpa acuan yang jelas. Sesuai dengan SDG's poin ke delapan, upaya yang harus dilakukan harus memperhatikan komunitas berkelanjutan dan ekonomi yang layak. Kabupaten Malang sendiri telah menunjuk Poncokusumo sebagai daerah Agropolitan. Namun, hal ini perlu dikaji kembali. Kajian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mengevaluasi hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan mengenai pengelolaan lahan pertanian Apel di Poncokusumo. Sehingga, kajian ini dapat menghasilkan solusi berupa pengembangan agrowisata berbasis kearifan lokal yang diharapkan mampu menjadi pendorong kegiatan ekonomi yang lebih baik sekaligus melestarikan budaya bertani di Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang.

The result of this research is the scheme of private sector financial involvement process and the approval of detail engineering design (DED).

In this issue we are attempting to discuss local wisdom in an effort to learn more about local knowledge and wisdom as an important way of understanding local concepts, planning experience, historical asset management and planning methods as potential assets in order to create better city planning. Study of concepts, theory, and best practices on local knowledge of the past results in design outcomes through the review of the design and practice of urban planning in an effort to develop sustainable urban design practices. Local wisdom in spatial city planning that characterizes a city is an important aspect in the process of spatial city planning. Thus urban development through planning policy must be able to accommodate local knowledge in order to create better city planning.
