The principle of verisimilitude that dominates their prose writing in different percentages, transforms the narrative strategy into an initiation journey for interpreting various traces left behind by a mysterious character. They are blending into their prose writing historic archival facts, popular knowledge embedded in folktales and ballads, as well as important artifacts. As requested by the literary convention, their vampire becomes a time traveler, interested in maintaining power and offering protection to a few ones, a more intellectual and at times a good-natured character, stripped of his sensuality.

Romanian poets of the 60’s to emphasize in their poetry the origins,
traditions, and to reinstate the connections with natural forces. Already commented by critics as Expressionists, they are as well seen and investigated here as Primitivists. Their creation is seen as a remake deprived of metaphysics of Lucian Blaga’s poetry in a postwar historical moment when there was a need for reaffirmation of rural origins and of authenticity of the poetic discourse.

The direct literary historical influences are surpassed by striking resemblances of Caraion's poetic sensibility with that of the major expressionist poets, nurtured firstly by the same anguished climate of the war and secondly by a tormented inner poetical structure. This identity in terms of individualities makes them co-exist as expressionists beyond expressionism.

negative. This is actually the first act of a personal drama which includes an opposite force that bursts out unexpectedly. This second component of Aurel Pantea's poetry has more vitality, shows a Dionysian type of energy, and appears under different metaphorical names such as "the being", "the dark being", "the beast" or "the reptile ". The essayist analyzes the three components that Aurel Pantea's imagination seems to disintegrate: the person, the thinking and the language. As a result, the resurrection does not lead to a transfigured subject, but it is rather the force of the instinct which the poet finds within himself.

of the dominant literary themes in Alexandru Vlad's
prose is the destruction of the Transylvanian village.
Both fictional and autobiographical, this theme is
analyzed in two distinct time frames: Communism and
post-Communism. Between them there is a continuity
of decay and degradation reaching not only the social
structure but the peasants' identity and ultimately,
the rural landscape. Alexandru Vlad's worldview is
contesting the canonical image of the Romanian peasant
imposed in literature. He implies a powerful critique of
the ways modernization was acquired in Romania, and
of the political regimes that always neglected the rural
stratum.
Key words: destructuring, Transylvanian literature,
Transylvanian village, communism, post-communism,
identity, memory
