There are two main issues arise concerning purchasing on-line using credit cards. First is the medium of transaction via on-line or Internet itself and secondly, the mode of payment being used to purchase online in which using credit card in this case. As Malaysia is heading towards e-commerce and purchasing on-line via credit cards has no longer a new trend; the challenges arise for solution which compliance with Sharia’ principles. This paper will address and highlight several challenges and issues and present recommendations based on the existing technology without overlooking legal provision provided in this country to solve the above concerns.

The objective of the paper is to explore the factors that encourage students to adopt social netw... more The objective of the paper is to explore the factors that encourage students to adopt social network sites (SNS) in Malaysia and to use the study’s findings to develop guidelines for SNS providers on how to maximize the rate of adoption. A conceptual model of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and intrinsic motivation is proposed and empirically tested in the context of SNS usage. Structural Equation modelling was used on the survey data from 283 university students to test the model fit and corresponding hypotheses. The results show that both TAM and TPB were supported in their predictions of SNS usage intention and perceived enjoyment is a more significant antecedent of attitude as compared to perceived usefulness. Other than communicating with others, the users are looking for fun and enjoyment from using SNS. The relationships between the factors were also presented. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed at the end of the article...
The paper presents a comparative study between the existing cyber laws in Malaysia and the Islami... more The paper presents a comparative study between the existing cyber laws in Malaysia and the Islamic perspective concerning four major issues in cyber space particularly concerning i. privacy, ii. trust, iii. theft and iv. contract.The study would use comparative approach from the main source of Islamic Shariah - Quran and Sunnah (tradition of the prophet s.aw.) and a thorough study of the existing law pertaining to cyber crime such as Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 and Computer Crime Act. The study prevails that the above concerns principally seems to be consistent with Islamic view. However more extensive study must be carried out when it comes to implementation of these issues in e-commerce. With more than one billion Muslim population, the research will serve as a baseline for establishing an alternative view from Islamic perspective and cyber laws that taken into account approach based on Shariah to meet new challenges for Muslim Ummah in cyberspace.

Three development methodologies were put together to increase the validity of the proposed framework, i.e., 1) methodologies for data gathering, 2) procedures for framework development and 3) methodologies for validating the framework created. Exploratory investigations with UK local councils were organised, reflecting several approaches to PSIS development. Based on the findings, a PSIS development framework is presented.

Hitherto, no research has yet systematically investigated the factors that influencing users' intention to invest in cryptocurrency. Thus, this study is aimed to develop an understanding regarding cryptocurrency investment by investigating the intention to invest in cryptocurrency; in this case is Bitcoin. This paper is a conceptual paper that extends the applicability of Theory of Reason Action (TRA) by incorporating perceived risk and perceived benefits as the additional variables from cryptocurrency investment context. Being limited to conceptual evidence, this study lacks the empirical evidence. Future works are needed to be done to establish the empirical support on the association of the studied variables.

As there is no agreed commercialization framework to guide the execution of processes to support inventions moving from laboratories to the right market. The lack of capabilities of appropriate processes have undermined the turning of innovation and products into wealth. The research questions are designed to identify the constraints and hindrances of commercialization and the characteristics of successful processes built from framework based on selected case studies of incubation capabilities within universities commercialization program.
