I can’t wait because we’re setting up our seed starting shelves in the next couple of days😊 Now, there are some perennials I will buy as plants, but Lupine is one I definitely will grow from seed. The only trick? I soak the seeds for a day or two before planting, because they have a very think seed coat. This aids in germination. Lupine attracts bees & other pollinators, and it looks beautiful in bouquets😍 But! It might not be the best fit for your area— in some regions, it’s considered an invasive species where it can spread very quickly & negatively impact the local ecosystem. Always remember: before planting a new plant, check to see if it would be a good fit in your garden.
