Miutan az elmeleti keretet attekintettuk, megtekintunk nehany gyakorlati peldat arra vonatkozoan, hogy a vallas milyen formaban es milyen modokon jelenik meg a sajtoban. Ehhez egy regebbi kutatast fogunk alapul venni, melyet Mate-Toth Andras es Juhasz Valeria keszitettek. Miutan a vallas mediaban tortenő megjelenesi formait atvettuk, egy, az elmult par evet erőteljesen a mediat es a kozdiskurzust meghatarozo esemenyről fog szo esni. A 2015-os europai migracios krizis gyokereinek es legfontosabb esemenyeinek, kapcsolodo fogalmainak megismerese utan attekintjuk a magyarorszagi vallasi vezetők altal tett nyilatkozatokat a temaban ket időszakra bontva.

Máté-Tóth András 1 Sebzett kollektív identitás és vallásértelmezés Kivonat Dolgozatomban amellett... more Máté-Tóth András 1 Sebzett kollektív identitás és vallásértelmezés Kivonat Dolgozatomban amellett érvelek, hogy a kelet-közép-európai régió társadalmi és vallási változásait elsősorban nem a modernizáció és a szekularizáció paradigmái mentén, hanem a sebzett kollektív identitás és a szekuritizáció teorémái mentén lehet adekvát módon értelmezni. A vallás maga is szekuritizációs jellegű, hiszen elsősorban veszélyeket jelöl ki, és ezeket az isteni hatalom közbenjárásával próbálja elhárítani. A vallásnak ezt a lényegi vonását az imádság elemzésével igazolom. A vallás szekuritizációs jellege és a köztesség társadalmainak biztonságigénye között szoros összefüggés mutatható ki-elsősorban is a kelet-közép-európai régióban. Mindezek alapján a vallási folyamatok értelmezése számára új lehetőségek kínálkoznak azzal, ha a biztonság és biztonságosítás vonatkozásait helyezzük előtérbe.

The economics of religion has entered the social science mainstream in recent decades, mainly thr... more The economics of religion has entered the social science mainstream in recent decades, mainly through the work of Roger Finke, Laurance Iannaccone and Rodney Stark. In these works, the authors sought to lay down a new theoretical framework for explaining religious phenomena that could be used to provide a new context for the empirical data sets of sociology of religion by applying approaches to rational choice theory and the concept of the market. In doing so, they have sought to overcome the secularisation thesis (Iannacone 1998, Finke and Stark, 2000) and the view that the religious dimension is primitive or at least irrational (Stark, Iannaccone and Finke, 1996). 1 A publikációt a HUN-REN "Convivence' Vallási Pluralizmus Kutatócsoport támogatta.

This paper discusses contemporary Paganism in Central and Eastern Europe, taking off from the gen... more This paper discusses contemporary Paganism in Central and Eastern Europe, taking off from the general (Western) definition of contemporary Paganism, and then moving to Pagan narratives present in the region, followed by the delineation of the features of Hungarian movements as a summary of a case study. Reasons and consequences of dissimilarities are presented briefly, reflecting to the outcomes of the foregoing research.

In this paper, we argue for the applicability of current transdisciplinary tendencies in social s... more In this paper, we argue for the applicability of current transdisciplinary tendencies in social sciences and the humanities in the case of research topics in which two or more fields are involved. In the past decades, many texts have been produced that discuss the pursuit of scientific activities and scientific production while also highlighting the terminological and historical aspects related to these. Often, polemics emerge on whether the distinctive/distinguished terms truly denote different phenomena, or they are merely empty expressions in vogue now in scientific discourse. This latter approach is most often notable in the case of inter-, cross-, and transdisciplinarity. An observer of these processes has to suffer from the multiplicity of interpretive frameworks behind these views, even though the given definitions, paradigm shifts, and processes seem quite obvious. In order to clarify the state of the field, we review historical approaches to disciplinarity, its modern and post-modern characteristics, while subsequently enumerating the necessary steps of transdisciplinary scientific production. The paper concludes with a case study of a research project, which exemplifies the distinct features of transdisciplinary research.
