This paper focuses on analyzing the role of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+,Youtube) wit... more This paper focuses on analyzing the role of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+,Youtube) with regards to corporate social responsibility (CSR), specifically in the fast food industry. The objectives are to identify the use of social media platforms by fast food restaurants, identify if social media integrate corporate social responsibility in their business thereby limiting marketing of unhealthy meals on their websites, and lastly, to find out if marketing of fast food products on social platforms affect users, especially the young people between the age of 15 to 25. The study analyzed and monitored 70 fast food restaurants and their social media activities. 63 0ut of 70 were found to have at least three social media platforms where they promote their products to end users and none of the restaurants have any restriction in marketing any kind of product using social media. Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (CNS) ... more Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (CNS) characterized by chronic inflammation, demyelination, gliosis, and neuronal loss. The course may be relapsing-remitting or progressive in nature. Aim: In this review, we will look into etiology, epidemiology, diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis. Methodology: The review is comprehensive research of PUBMED since the year 1991 to 2019. Conclusion: MS is an autoimmune disorder of the CNS with an array of immune cells being either activated or suppressed leading to demyelination and disease progression. Epidemiological studies have also clarified the prognosis and reaffirmed that many patients do well. To date there is no cure for MS, and medications which decrease immunologic functions may have significant risks. The short term efficacy and safety of newer agents is being explored however the long term risks of these agents, particularly when used in combination or succession will remain uncertain. 34. Assessing and Fostering Responsible Practice in Mobile Application Development

: As mobile devices such as Smartphones and other handheld, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) co... more : As mobile devices such as Smartphones and other handheld, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) continue to permeate human life today, each sector of society is seeking to partake in the benefits thereof. The Health sector is not left behind as today there is a large number of mobile devices and applications that are used in health areas such as in checking vital signs, in diagnosis, suggesting healthy diets, etc. Knowledge of the level of adoption of responsible practices in Mobile Applications Development remains limited. We therefore propose a research on the investigation of, and intervention with the current state of applying responsible practices in mobile application development to bridge the knowledge gap. Our study shows that most developers of Mobile Health Applications (mHealth apps) do not take into serious consideration responsible practices during the development of their apps. While some developers are ignorant of Responsible Research and Innovation, others are somewhat negligent to adopt responsible research because of non-incentives or non-punishment of defaulters.

This research is necessitated because of under-utilization of computing resources due to lack of ... more This research is necessitated because of under-utilization of computing resources due to lack of a campus local area network in Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo. Related literatures on design and implementation of campus local area network were reviewed. A hybrid Bus-Star topology and hierarchical model were in the design. This was achieved using Edraw Max 7.9 Network Design Software, AutoCAD, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Google Earth Pro. The research presented a comprehensive TSU–Campus LAN and recommendation for implementation to facilitate enhanced e-learning, online applications and multimedia communication services for all campus residents in TSU, Jalingo.
